"I hired Alex for the job of installing a large 72" recessed fireplace into the wall of my master bedroom. Initially I was going to go with Touchstone Sideline recessed electric fireplace. After calling roughly 5-7 surrounding fireplace businesses and spending over 5 hours on the phone to get continuously rejected for project and timeline, I got in touch with Alex at Queen City Fireplace. He came out the same day to look at the space, and assess the job. He recommended Dimplex fireplace instead, and I'm SO GLAD he did. Within 3 days the final job was done, and the fireplace couldn't be more Spectacular! Alex was punctual, knowledgeable, experienced, and worked diligently to get the job done RIGHT! He was a breathe of fresh air compared to all other companies. I will be using him for all future needs, and would ***Highly recommend for all indoor/ outdoor Fireplace installations. "We have lived in this house about a year. (The house is 12 years old). When we bought the house the inspection report noted that there were cracks in the masonry due to normal settlement. The inspection report noted that these should be repaired to prevent water penetration. Doug did a full inspection of the exterior of the house to locate all cracks in bricks and masonry.
It went very well. All the work done was outside we had a couple of delays due to weather - Severe thunderstorms.
Doug and his crew arrived on time and had all the work done in short order.
The job site was cleaned up and my back porch was much cleaner after they left than it was before they started!

"Jim was professional and an expert in figuring out what was faulty. He identified that we needed to replace the gas valve and not only installed a new one but also restored the embers as well. We are thrilled, and we and our landlord will recommend Jim to anyone needing fireplace installation or repairs. Jim was also very respectful and punctual. "Outdoor Artisans came out to the house to survey the site and discuss options for a set of stone steps. We agreed on a plan, but they were booked until December. They very kindly moved us up so the steps could be installed before the lake levels rose again. We love the steps- they are both beautiful and functional. We will definitely use them again and recommend them highly.

"Jerry and his son Mark came out one afternoon and patched the gaps in the corner of our lower level brick home, patched some internal brick gaps on our exposed brick wall, and patched our stone firepit. They did a great job matching the mortar color and were quick and efficient. Nice guys."
