Gerardo who was my contact person was very easy to work with and very responsive to follow-up questions before the install. There was an error that was made by the guys during the install but Gerardo ensured that it was rectified and in a timely fashion as well, pain free which was fantastic. "They removed the existing stone and cleaned the stone to reuse. They laid a 18"x18" concrete footer. They then rebuilt the stone wall using the existing stone and some additional new stones. They then gave it an acid wash for the final step. The wall is beautiful and built to last a life time."

"Ash was very knowledgeable and frank when discussing what I wanted and the expected results.  While his quote was competitive, it was $500 or 600 less than the others I obtained.  Because of this, I questioned his numbers several times and he assured me they were accurate. Based on that, the reviews on Angies' and his forthright manner in opinion of material and design,  I hired him to do the job. 
All went well until the third day of install, when the installer came up two rooms short of wood.  Ash called me, told me the situation, saying that he had miscalculated and would have to ordered more wood, which he did. The job was completed the next day, and I was presented with the final bill, which was $1500 more than the quote.
 While I appreciate that mistakes happen, I didn't appreciate the unplanned and surprise of the additional charge.....I simply hadn't budgeted for the additional expense.  I also wondered if I was a victim of a bait and switch.  I want to believe that it was an honest mistake, but either way, I simply didn't have it in my budget to absorb someone else's error and found it extremely unprofessional to ask me to do so--to the point of discomfort as he demanded payment of his error. I need to clarify that he was never rude, just aggressively persistent, and it got to the point that we were haggling as if we were in a flea market.  After 'haggling' back and forth, and I ended up paying an additional $600; it still sits very uncomfortably with me.  I feel a bit 'taken'.  If I make a mistake when working with a client, I take responsibility for MY mistake and 'eat' the difference; I would never go back and ask my customer to pay for my error--especially when the customer questioned the quote on more than one occasion.  
Additionally, there is also a good bit of glue left on the wood floor, including an nice big boot print.  I'll Youtube to find out how to safely remove it as I really don't want to have to call Ash to get it rectified.
