"I worked with Matt, and was able to get an appointment set up to happen within a few days at a competitive rate. He inspected and cleaned the chimney well, and also noticed breaks in the fireplace/chimney that would possibly lead to severe damage if they weren't repaired before use -- even going so far as to recommend how I could fix it myself, or offering to do it separately if I wanted someone else to. He was skilled, polite, and cared about doing a good/thorough job even beyond the description of what he came to do. "Leon was wonderful! So professional, listened to what I had been told years ago about my fireplace (that it had multiple cracks and needed to be replaced). He inspected it thoroughly and showed me pictures of what he found: No cracks, just normal wear and tear. The other company wanted me to pay $3000 for a new liner, so we just never did it and therefore believed we could not use our fireplace since then. Leon certified that it met the standards necessary to be used, replaced my 25+ year old cap and swept the chimney. "Ryan came out right on time. He is so friendly and competent. He fully inspected our very high chimney and came back with some excellent suggestions for how we could save our fireplace and continue to use it with wood or gas, in addition to fixing our leaking chimney. He had a bid to us very soon. We signed and he ordered the specialize cap. As soon as it came in, he scheduled our installation. It just happened to fall on the hottest day of the year. Our old chimney cap had been sealed and resealed many times, so it was hard to get off, but Ryan persevered with a cheerful attitude. Soon it was off and our beautiful new cap was installed. Then he finished repairing and resurfacing our fireplace. The work was immaculately done. When it was over, he informed me that he had reduce our bill below what he bid it because he did not have to spend as much time on our firebox as he had thought. When does this ever happen? What a guy. This is the best experience I have ever had with a contractor (and I am 62 and have owned about a dozen homes)."

When they went up on roof they found that my handyman had put tar on crown (fire hazard) and mortar joints were missing causing damage inside the firebox. They took pictures to show me. We made an appointment for the next day, they were done in about a half hour. I could see the difference from the ground. VERY impressed.
