"Work was performed as scheduled.  I authorized work to be done when I was not home so I cannot comment actual visit.  Mortar/brick repair was done as requested.  Slight differences in mortar color probably due to age of existing mortar.  I will have to see how it ages out.

Solid Stone Fabricators rep contacted me in a timely fashion reqarding my emailed inquiry via Angie's List where I included a picture of cabinet needing counter and provided measurements and they were able to give me an estimate via phone and email based on the info I provided which I appreciated instead of wasting my time to come out first.
Gerardo who was my contact person was very easy to work with and very responsive to follow-up questions before the install. There was an error that was made by the guys during the install but Gerardo ensured that it was rectified and in a timely fashion as well, pain free which was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this company to friends and family and will use them in the future.

"They removed the existing stone and cleaned the stone to reuse. They laid a 18"x18" concrete footer. They then rebuilt the stone wall using the existing stone and some additional new stones. They then gave it an acid wash for the final step. The wall is beautiful and built to last a life time."

"We did a lot of searching before we made such a large purchase.  Angie's list was our primary resource and we are so glad we made our selection based on the reviews.  Lesli is such a joy to work with, she is always cheerful, helpful and knowledgeable.  Ash is a straight forward guy and will give you his best price and make recommendations if you're not sure of the type or color you want in flooring.  The installers were very professional - they worked so hard.  The existing flooring was put down with a type of glue and sealant that made it impossible to use their large sander to remove.  Those guys hand-scraped two rooms of tile and had to cut and saw out the existing hardwood floors.  They worked non-stop except for a quick lunch.  The boards between the tile and wood flooring did not match initially and had to be removed and other re-installed.  Lesli searched for the right type and it was re-installed in just a few days.  I would highly recommend Fine Floors."

"This was a large project, encompassing our formal living room and guest bathroom remodel. Sheet rock, painting our living room, fireplace tile, foyer, dining room, stairway, game room and ceiling. The guest bath remodel included new custom tile work, vanity, shower door and fixtures."

"We worked with the owner Brian and contracted him to install Silver Mist flagstone on our front, back and kitchen porches, as well as build steps a the front porch. After he started the work, we decided to have him build some additional steps, and pull up an old walkway and replace it with Silver Mist. His price to add this additional work was very reasonable.
Brian's crew knew exactly what to do and wasted no time. And when they finished, they picked up  everything, including what was left of the pile of sand they used for making mortar. The yard was left exactly like it was when they started. 
We are very happy with the results and especially the honest way in which Brian dealt with us. When we noticed a questionable place in the stone work, Brian immediately had his guys pull out the stones and corrected the issue without a question. The Silver Mist on the three porches looks great and our realtor said it will increase the value of the house much more the the cost. Next summer we will add a new entry walk and a patio in the front. We will definitely have Stonemastertx do that work.

"I had paid a deposit to get a job dome to fix some damage one of our customers did to an air bnb home. I got a call two days before the scheduled work that the homeowner had already done the repair and Air BnB was charging me for it. These guys were really cool and gave me a no hassle refund of my deposit. So happy I did not have to hassle over a refund. I will always call these guys first from now on.!"

"The roofer did not show up at the appointment time. When I finally called to see why no one came I was told they didn't come due to the rain. I believe they were in Dallas. I am in the mid cities and it had not rained at all. The problem was no one called me to tell me they would not come or ask if it was raining where I was. So the lady asked if I still wanted a roofer to come and we arranged for him to come right away which she said would be about 40 minutes. 1 1/2 hours later the man arrived. He walked around on the roof a short time and then showed me some pictures of where the roof needed to be replaced and a few minor spots of re nailing. He said I would get an estimate from the company. I told him I wanted copies of the pictures. I repeated this a number of times. The man was hispanic and I am not sure how well we were understanding each other. I later got a one line estimate to replace part of roof...no detail as to how much material, etc., no other detail to repairs, no pictures. I called the company as I was in process of selling my house and needing to know what had to be done or not done but was not going to give a "blank check" to fix "whatever". The estimate also did not deduct the amount spent on the Angie's Deal as promised in the deal.The office finally corrected that and sent me a new quote minus that...but no further detail as to materials or pictures. My impression: the Angie's Deal for this company is a sham...not worth the expense as you get little for your $$ and they hopefully get a customer for thousands of $$ of roofing repair. I also hear this company advertised on the radio frequently and I do not recommend. I did end up with another company who looked at my roof with my insurance adjuster and I replaced the total roof in a few days time. The new company was terrific to work with and allowed me to close on time and sell my home."
