"Rob responded immediately to the Angie's list request. We made an appointment and he showed up on time. He immediately went to work and explained what he was doing when I asked him. He was very careful to put on slippers to replace his boots. He also laid a tarp to keep the dust from dirtying the fireplace hearth. He quickly assessed the ignition problem and fixed it. ($150) He then moved to rapidly clean the dryer vent ($140). He was professional throughout. I will hire him again."

"Work was performed as scheduled.  I authorized work to be done when I was not home so I cannot comment actual visit.  Mortar/brick repair was done as requested.  Slight differences in mortar color probably due to age of existing mortar.  I will have to see how it ages out.

"I sent a request for quote to five fabricators that I found on Angie's List and Solid Stone Fabricators (SSF) replied that day with a quote for a turn key job. They were the lowest price (barely, most were within a few hundred dollars) and Roberta provided the best communication of the process.

After giving SSF the project, they sent me a contract for the project, I paid 50% down and they promptly set me up with the granite distributor so I could pick out my slabs, worked with me on sink option, helped choose an edge, and scheduled an appointment to perform their own measurements. The install was scheduled far in advance and they were kind enough to push the install back later in the day because of a last minute scheduling conflict on my part. 

The two installers were very friendly (only one spoke english), efficient, and hard working. No time spent chit chatting or day dreaming, they went to work and didn't stop until I was happy with everything. They stayed late while I modified a cabinet so the countertop would be level (they will shim but not cut your cabinets). After the install they cleaned and sealed the countertops, vacuumed up and removed all debris from the job. 

SSF was very professional in all aspects and I will be using them again soon on a house I'm buying."

"Bryce was very professional, informative and prompt. He found a couple of problems with the electrical wiring to one of the furnaces that were potential fire hazards and repaired them. He did additional work to bring the gas lines up to code on both units and repaired a leak in a vent. 
I appreciated that he took the time to thoroughly explain his findings and recommendations for immediate corrections and what might be issues in the future. I will call Bryce for future heating and A/C checks and for any repairs needed in the future.

Travis arrived on time to search the chimney for an entry path for squirrels.  He found that the chimney screen had been mangled by squirrels, so he brought the chimney cap down for repairs.  He attached some new hardware cloth with sheet metal screws, and installed the cap back on the chimney.  He did a great looking job on the cap to make it squirrel proof.  The roof on our 2-story house is very difficult to climb, but Travis made at least 3 round trips up to the chimney.  He finished the job in an hour.  The TD Services prices are much better than other Handyman companies that I have used.

"The job was done very well for the most part. The cabinet work met all our expectations and obtained the color that we wanted. The granite counter top was done perfectly. Emily kept us informed everyday of what to expect the next day which was appreciated. We only had one issue with the fireplace stacked stone job but SHI corrected that issue to our satisfaction. While the granite work was very impressive and probably one of the more difficult of all the work we had done, the painter who repaired the textured walls and painted the areas impacted by all the work did an Excellent job.
