"March 2021: It was excellent working with Mr. Christmas. He exceeded my expectations. I will never call another contractor as long as Mr. Christmas is still working. His workmanship, attention to detail and his communication skills are above and beyond what I have been use to when dealing with other people that have done work for me in the past. Call Mr. Christmas you will not be disappointed! Thank you Mr. Christmas for making my experience so positive."

"I cancelled a job I put a deposit of $10,826.95 down for because the sale of my home fell through. I cancelled on June 13th and I still haven't received my refund as of 8/19. We have reached out on 3 separate occasions. My wife and I have been told different stories by different people as to what happened, but not much of it is adding up. After holding our deposit for over two months the manager said-- "We cannot do anything more to compensate you." Apparently, it is being overnighted this evening. Sadly, my advice is to proceed with caution. I give 2-stars because they apparently still have the money to refund me, it could have been worse I suppose."

"Absolutely recommend! We had a squirrel getting in our chimney ~2 weeks before Thanksgiving. Although scheduled through the holiday, James made time for a quick look, then found & helped me block the squirrel's access. And, because he'd be returning to sweep the chimney, he didn't even charge for that visit. What a wonderful surprise! Our later chimney sweep was thoroughly & cleanly done w/o soot getting into the house. This is a wonderful, successful family business that I'll definitely use again."

"Avoid this business. They have terrible follow-up, customer service, and owners. They are very unprofessional, insulting and condescending. They care only about getting their money. As examples, I asked them what they would do about my gutter guards 5 weeks before they were supposed to replace my roof, and they didn't respond. Then the week they were supposed to do the work they sent a document that said they aren't responsible for removing, reinstalling or replacing gutter guards with the disclaimer of course that they wouldn't be responsible for any damage. Their document also wanted me to inform them of any concerns in writing, before they did their work, I did. One thing I told them is that I have new grass in part of my lawn and also told them that they can access my entire house and yard, without walking on that area. Their response was: If the ground is soft and 10 people walk on it over one day it can get damaged. Their reply also insulted me by twice saying "It is really just common sense..." I told them to stay off of an area and they could get everywhere without walking on it, and rather than say "OK, we will certainly avoid it if we can, thanks for letting us know." they said what I posted above. One of the owners then called me and again was insulting. I reiterated the above, letting him know I was just doing what their document told me, and he said "Yep, that is just common sense" and started just saying "Sensitive people..." as if I was being an idiot. I say: don't walk on this area of my lawn and He says: if people walk on it it will get damages, that's just common sense. And of course he then let me know that they'd be billing me for 10% of the total cost (which I figured, because it is in the signed proposal) and if I didn't, they'd turn me over to collections. I asked why they didn't get back to me about my gutter guards when I asked. He deflected that and said something non-sensical. Avoid them at all costs. I will pay the 10% and sleep better knowing I don't have an uncaring, unprofessional company working on my house. If I could leave a ZERO start review, I would."

"Do not trust this roofing company. In 2012 we had our 35-year-old roof replaced (it had never once leaked but had some hail damage). We went with Treadlite despite the fact that their estimate was more than $1000 higher than the other estimates we got because Treadlite was a local company and had a lifetime warranty on their work. We paid extra to have new flashing/skylight kits put around 6 skylights in our sunroom. Within a couple years we noticed leaking around the skylights. Treadlite did not respond to our many, many calls so I posted a bad review of their company and finally David called. A crew came out and David asked if we paid for skylight kits since none had been installed. They did agree to fix the problem but when they came out, David saw (and told us) his crew had broken our glass skylights and they would have to be replaced. He agreed to replace these—we assumed with the same kind of skylights—and to repair the considerable damage to our ceiling. Instead, David put plastic bubbles over the skylight holes and left it at that. (He did say that the original project manager, Lloyd, had been fired for issues just like this. That’s a real comfort to me and my leaking skylights). Since then, the “skylights” have leaked and leaked and leaked to the point where the wooden ceiling has started to rot out. After leaving many messages and even going in person to the shop, Andrew did finally call to see what could be done to make things right. He left a message but then did not call back when he said he would, did not respond to my calls or texts, and did not follow up on “making it right.” It is clear Treadlite does not intend to fix the problem they created. I had three other roofers come out to take a look at the problem—one of them asked me if the new skylights were a DIY job! The price for getting new glass skylights with kits will be about $5500. We have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and plan to follow up with a lawsuit if we cannot make Treadlite honor their warranty and fix the massive leak/rot/roof/ceiling problem they create. All of this after paying nearly $10,000 for an asphalt roof. If you plan to actually live in your home and expect the company you pay to make good on its work and warranty, this is NOT the company for you. PROS: None CONS: Poor Workmanship Refusal to make good on service/product warranty"
