I'm in the process of buying a single family home in Long Valley, NJ & working on a tight schedule to get to closing on this house. Nick at 3D responded same-day to my request for a comprehensive inspection & got me on his schedule for a few days later. I bought my current NJ home 40+ years ago & that was a new build. The very lovely home I fell in love with in Long Valley is an older home & while it appears to be well maintained, I still wanted a thorough inspection. Enter Nick of 3D & his radon, mold & sewer guy, David. The inspection started right on time with explanations being offered throughout. Both Nick & David welcomed my questions & made sure any concerns I had were addressed before wrapping up the inspection. The reports I received were comprehensive & included pictures to illustrate various points noted during the inspection. Naturally, the reports sparked more questions which Nick & David responded to promptly & told me if I thought of more questions to let him know. Even though the inspections & the reports were done, Nick & David never tried to push me away when new questions came up. I'd also like to mention that Nick's wife & business partner Jill, is so very helpful, quick to obtain other pieces of information I needed while managing to soothe my frazzled, home buyer nerves. "My wife and I found out about Cherry Roofing and Siding from our son-in-law Mike Clyburn who is a job planner for Cherry. He set up the visit with the sales rep and ordered the materials for the job. We were visited by the sales rep Mike Schmidt. He inspected the current roof and estimated the work to be done. The roof on the house and the garage were to be replaced (20 square) along with downspout work on the garage. He spent a lot of time explaining the techniques, materials, and timing to complete the job. The crew headed by Mike Kane came the day of the job. They were efficient, their work top notch and left the jobsite as clean as they found it. All the work was completed as expected in one day. The gutter and downspout work were completed in about 1 hour the next day. I have included 2 pics of the finished job. "After getting about half a dozen quotes, we ultimately decided to go with Home Genius Exteriors. They were the most expensive of all the options, but we chose them because we knew exactly what we wanted, and they clearly understood our requirements. The process began with Lois, who was extremely helpful with all the initial paperwork. Then Alyssa took over and was consistently in touch with us—updating us on the schedule and rescheduling as needed due to weather delays. On install day, the crew showed up bright and early at 7 AM—just as promised. They got started right away. All materials and the dumpster had already been delivered days in advance, so there were no delays. They quickly set up tarps around the house and began removing the old shingles and boards—we opted for a full deck replacement. Joe, the project manager, stayed in contact via phone and text, letting me know he’d be arriving a bit later. That wasn’t an issue at all because his foreman, Ivan, had everything well under control. Once Joe arrived, we discussed a few things, and some minor adjustments were made based on my requests. The entire process was smooth—Joe was professional and made sure I was happy with everything. The crew finished around 4 PM, and then spent nearly 90 minutes on cleanup, making sure no nails were left behind—especially on the driveway. Overall, we're very happy with the service provided by Lois, Alyssa, Joe, and Ivan. We couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience.
