"Wow! I am so very happy I chose Lee at Fireman's Home Inspection. He exceeded my expectations in so many ways. I am new to this area, and hoping to purchase a home that was abandoned and in disrepair. Lee was professional but very personable. He took time to explain each procedure, and he was very thorough. I received my inspection report in a very timely manner. There was quite a bit of old furnishings and trash left in the home. Lee and his lovely family came to the home and hauled off everything I did not want - and did it free of charge! I have never hired anyone who cared so much about meeting my needs, and helping me out. I would highly recommend Lee. I couldn't be happier about the services he provided. He is exceptional!"

"Matt was very responsive from first contact when many others were not. Answered all our questions. Provided complete info. Excellent communication. Was honest about what was beyond his scope and what other inspections we needed to hire. Report allowed us to get purchase price reduced. Overall happy. A bit pricey for what we were told by others inspections should cost but he was thorough. <br />"

"I am a REALTOR. Duke City Home Inspectors have completed numerous inspection for my clients and now our own family home. They are always very thorough and the best part is that we came away with a nice important list of how to keep the home in great shape for the future. Levi and Josh take tons of time to help the buyer or seller (he does pre-home inspections  for sellers,as well, and then comes back with the new buyer to re-inspect at NO CHARGE) understand what is in the report. If the buyer is attending the inspection they point out how to avoid problems and maintain a nice home. They will teach you how to take care of your swamp cooler, lube you windows, how not to get electrocuted when you open a fuse box, etc. Especially great for a new home buyer.  They are careful to look for polybutylene piping and sono-tubing plus much more. You will LOVE Duke City Home Inspectors! <br />"

"The termite inspector arrived on time, thoroughly inspected our home's foundation inside the crawl space, and told us he saw no evidence of any termite infestation. He took samples of the arboreal termites from the Cottonwood tree from which a branch had fallen exposing the termites. His office confirmed that the arboreal termites were not the same as subterranean termites, which was a great relief !"

"I received my radon results in a timely manner. I did not hire them specifically, (so, I cannot say I would hire them again) the local company contracted them for this service. The home inspector I hired, handled this service for me and included the results in his report."

"Frank was extremely thorough in inspecting the property we are going to buy. He pointed out many serious negatives about the house before he even started, to make sure we still wanted the inspection done. That was good. Then he went over the house with a fine tooth comb and well documented everything he encountered. He was knowledgeable and specific. A few days later he submitted a detailed report via email with clear photos and descriptions including lots of stock text. Mostly, he advised having further inspections done by pros in specific areas. He only charged $300. for the entire day (6 hours) and he didn't mind us following him around. <br /> <br />"

"Scott did an outstanding job inspecting a house we are purchasing. He was very detailed with his inspection and provided answers to all my questions. I really recommend upgrading to the infrared package to provide piece of mind for determining if there are any leaks or hot spots. The best part is that he provides the inspection report on-site when it is completed. I would definitely recommend Scott for a home inspection! <br>"

"Mike and Dee are total professionals, from customer service to their expertise in this area. They provided information on keeping our drains clean and clear. They did such a great job that they discovered a piece of our old drain system that had gone down to block the drain in part creating a problem that had not been solved by anyone else. They are friendly and you can tell that they take their job seriously, making the best effort to problem solve. We'll be calling them again and will refer others."

FAQs for complete home inspection projects in Albuquerque, NM

An electrical inspection usually takes one to two hours. During the inspection, your electrician will follow the National Electrical Code (NEC) to ensure your home is safe and up to legal safety standards. They'll check your electrical system, including wires, appliances, meter box, panel, circuit breakers, and more.

Afterward, you'll receive a detailed checklist of everything they examined, along with a report highlighting any urgent issues—often with photos. They might also offer tips on how to save energy and improve your system's efficiency.

Regular electrical inspections protect your home and family by ensuring that every part of your electrical system operates safely. Scheduling inspections reduces the risk of electrical fires and cuts high insurance premiums by detecting problems early. Inspections defend against hidden system failures and maintain your property’s overall value, making them an essential part of home maintenance.

Full home electrical inspections are essential when buying a new home because every wiring detail must be evaluated. If you are not purchasing a home and have no significant concerns, a basic safety inspection is sufficient. However, for older properties or homes that have not been inspected for a long time, a comprehensive inspection is required to detect hidden issues and ensure complete safety.
