"Ed was an amazing inspector! He took the time to talk me through all the ins and outs of the condo that I have since purchased. I felt so at ease and he really went above and beyond to educate me on so many things I didn’t know about being a potential homeowner. He gave major helpful dad vibes and really appreciated his professionalism and knowledge. Ed also pointed me in the right direction on repairs and what reasonable costs would be so as not to be taken advantage of. I would 10/10 hire Ed again! "

"Wow. I have used Classic for 8 years, both for insulation and pest control. They were great to work with and did a consistently good job for a reasonable fee. As a text from them today requested, I called to reschedule a service call. The person who answered identified himself as the owner, and indicated he was “back” because he didn’t like the way the company was being run. Because I wanted my service to include a crawlspace inspection of the rodent traps that they put in - something that is part of the service they have always done — and that I pay for — said I was being too rigid and he didn’t want me as a customer. Again, wow."

"Mike was recommended to me by someone whose opinion I trust. When I reached out, he responded right away with his availability. At the end of the inspection, he shared detailed notes; the following day he emailed his full report to me. A total professional who's also personable. I honestly cannot recommend Mike highly enough."

FAQs for complete home inspection projects in Arlington, WA

An electrical inspection usually takes one to two hours. During the inspection, your electrician will follow the National Electrical Code (NEC) to ensure your home is safe and up to legal safety standards. They'll check your electrical system, including wires, appliances, meter box, panel, circuit breakers, and more.

Afterward, you'll receive a detailed checklist of everything they examined, along with a report highlighting any urgent issues—often with photos. They might also offer tips on how to save energy and improve your system's efficiency.

Regular electrical inspections protect your home and family by ensuring that every part of your electrical system operates safely. Scheduling inspections reduces the risk of electrical fires and cuts high insurance premiums by detecting problems early. Inspections defend against hidden system failures and maintain your property’s overall value, making them an essential part of home maintenance.

Full home electrical inspections are essential when buying a new home because every wiring detail must be evaluated. If you are not purchasing a home and have no significant concerns, a basic safety inspection is sufficient. However, for older properties or homes that have not been inspected for a long time, a comprehensive inspection is required to detect hidden issues and ensure complete safety.
