"As a first time home buyer buying in an inflated sellers housing market in Miami, FL, Joe is the inspector you want on your side. Our initial phone call was extremely thorough and detailed. He provides templates of his inspection reports for your review and goes into detail about what a general inspection includes and does not include. The day of inspection, Joe came with modern technology and equipment for recording and documenting all the issues he noted from the aerial view of the roof all the way down into the crawl space. Joe noticed I had water damage under the subflooring of the crawl space and I brought in a specialist the very next day. Turns out the home I was looking to purchase has 40k worth of repairs under the crawlspace and although the house was “renovated” this kind of repair requires all the flooring to come off including the new kitchen cabinets and new remodeled bathroom tiles and shower/ tub. He sent my inspection report the night of the inspection and it was so detailed. He had multiple pictures of the issues he saw, not just one photo and he even ran estimates of the repairs but advises to get specialists for each item for more accuracy. I highly recommend you get an inspector that’s this thorough and on YOUR side as the buyer."

Small jobs welcome

"Kyler was EXCEPTIONAL! He is knowledgeable and very thorough. He responded promptly to my Angi inquiry and I could not happier with the outcome of the inspection and his pleasant professional nature! I’m new to North Carolina so naturally I had some reservations about seeking assistance from companies that I’ve never heard. Kyler did not disappoint…he shared his resources with me as far as referrals are concerned for other areas of my project. I would recommend him to anyone who need home inspection services!"

"I would recommend hiring Joe to anyone looking to purchase real estate property. Joe is a knowledgeable professional with an extensive resume. His reports are timely, detailed, and help prospective buyers make informed decisions prior to purchasing property. My husband hired another inspector to inspect our home prior to purchasing the property. He came to our home on two occasions but failed to identify serious problems with our home, screened in porch, and upstairs deck. About three months after we purchased the home we noticed that two of the windows in our sunroom were broken and saw signs of water intrusion on the ceiling of our screened in porch and the ceiling of the dinette area in our kitchen. The seller did not disclose any previous issues with our home. I found myself in need of a knowledgeable inspector to let me know what I was dealing with. I looked on Angie's List and found Joe. I hired him because his resume was impressive and he had more reviews than any other inspector. Joe found multiple major issues that the pre purchase home inspector missed. Joe told my husband and I not to walk on our upstairs deck. If Joe did not tell me that it was dangerous to walk on my deck, my husband and I could have been seriously injured. If I had hired Joe from the start, I never would have purchased my home. Joe contacted me several times after he inspected my home and offered to help me in anyway that he could. I am so grateful that he took the time. I will be hiring Joe to assist me with all future real estate purchases."

"Service was excellent.  The inspection and associated report was thorough and easy to understand.  The areas of concern and that required remediation <strong>were described and accompanied by clear photos.  The builder of the home said that this was one of the best interactions he had had with an inspector based on substance.  The reinspection of items addressed was gave me great piece of mind closing on the home.  </strong>"

FAQs for complete home inspection projects in Belmont, NC

An electrical inspection usually takes one to two hours. During the inspection, your electrician will follow the National Electrical Code (NEC) to ensure your home is safe and up to legal safety standards. They'll check your electrical system, including wires, appliances, meter box, panel, circuit breakers, and more.

Afterward, you'll receive a detailed checklist of everything they examined, along with a report highlighting any urgent issues—often with photos. They might also offer tips on how to save energy and improve your system's efficiency.

Regular electrical inspections protect your home and family by ensuring that every part of your electrical system operates safely. Scheduling inspections reduces the risk of electrical fires and cuts high insurance premiums by detecting problems early. Inspections defend against hidden system failures and maintain your property’s overall value, making them an essential part of home maintenance.

Full home electrical inspections are essential when buying a new home because every wiring detail must be evaluated. If you are not purchasing a home and have no significant concerns, a basic safety inspection is sufficient. However, for older properties or homes that have not been inspected for a long time, a comprehensive inspection is required to detect hidden issues and ensure complete safety.
