"Al was great. He was timely and super professional. He was able to answer all my questions. He was very knowledgeable about laws and regulations so that I could make informed decisions. The fee for Cornerstone's service was reasonable and offered more at cheaper cost than the other businesses I called. Enjoying my new home now!"

"We noticed that rain water was seeping in to an area of the house but couldn't work out where it was coming in. Rather than calling in a biased roofing or cladding contractor, we called J Ashe Home Inspection Services in (on a non rainy day...) and he found areas that were the likely cause. We also wanted a general survey of the house to see if there was anything that would be needed if we decided to sell (so that my wife can make me do these repairs on my days off..). We were very impressed with Jeff Ashley (the owner/surveyor) who was excellent in his approach to our concerns and what was needed. Very trustworthy and pleasant. He recommended a subcontractor who could do the work we needed and based on our opinion of Jeff, we will be contacting them. I would trust Jeff implicitly with any future requirements we would have and his recommendations. No issues during the request for him to come to us, his attendance and report/recommendations."

"We hired Sean Moore at Moore Inspections to inspect a home we are considering purchasing. He was one of the most professional individuals we have ever came across from our initial conversation to the day of inspection. We scheduled a day and time in advance and he followed up with us the day before to confirm. He arrived right in time and began working immediately. During the inspection he took his time to answer each of our questions with accuracy and to explain everything in Layman's terms. It's not often you randomly find a person with such high work ethics and we are pleased to recommend Moore Inspections."

FAQs for complete home inspection projects in Bryan, TX

An electrical inspection usually takes one to two hours. During the inspection, your electrician will follow the National Electrical Code (NEC) to ensure your home is safe and up to legal safety standards. They'll check your electrical system, including wires, appliances, meter box, panel, circuit breakers, and more.

Afterward, you'll receive a detailed checklist of everything they examined, along with a report highlighting any urgent issues—often with photos. They might also offer tips on how to save energy and improve your system's efficiency.

Regular electrical inspections protect your home and family by ensuring that every part of your electrical system operates safely. Scheduling inspections reduces the risk of electrical fires and cuts high insurance premiums by detecting problems early. Inspections defend against hidden system failures and maintain your property’s overall value, making them an essential part of home maintenance.

Full home electrical inspections are essential when buying a new home because every wiring detail must be evaluated. If you are not purchasing a home and have no significant concerns, a basic safety inspection is sufficient. However, for older properties or homes that have not been inspected for a long time, a comprehensive inspection is required to detect hidden issues and ensure complete safety.
