Observations for improvements to meet current standards (house 40 yr old), some illustrations of those standards when it could be done by a DIYer. Separate identification of serious items that need to be addressed. After the general inspection, had a 45 minute "debrief" of general and specific results, as needed. Also a home walk-through pointing out the different system pieces (such as obscure interior shutoffs for exterior water faucets, hidden air intake under the elevated deck, among others).
