"I hired High Mark for a home inspection service. Adam did a great job. His inspection report was comprehensive but easy to understand. He highlighted the important concerns, and thoroughly explained the other home systems' conditions. I found this to be a very educational experience."

"My inspector was timely and prepared. He inspected the grounds, roof, siding, windows, fixtures, bathrooms, air exhausts, furnace, AC, washer, driver, dishwasher, stove, bathrooms, attic, crawl space, etc. I appreciated his willingness to allow me to watch him as he inspected and make sure my questions were answered. He also used a thermal camera to identify any leaks or air gaps. The inspector was very friendly when I had follow-up questions after the inspection was completed. He was prompt in my phone calls and was able to talk about my home after the inspection. I received a detailed report including photos and a risk-based action list, which I appreciate as a "to-do" list after move in. I lastly had a radon test performed, which was a separate cost of $159 for the 3 day test. I recommend this company although the cost may appear higher than competition. I did also appreciate the invoice break out by costs including travel costs."

"<em>We're so satisfied with his service and professionalism that we'll use him again and recommend him to our neighbors in the homeowners association!  The additional services he provided were not part of what we requested for the service call, just something we remembered to ask about when he got here (and appreciate his help with both issues).<br /> </em> <br />"

"Mr Haas arrived as scheduled.  He performed a detailed inspection of the roof and gave his assessment of its condition.  This was followed up with a written report and pictures of the problem areas.  The report contained an estimate of what it should cost to have the roof replaced.  Once I get estimates  and decide to replace the roof The Haas Group will be here to inspect the work as it is done."

"Don was able to do a home inspection for a 3800 sf house we were considering buying the day after I called him.  He spent about 4 hours there taking many pictures.  He was punctual, VERY thorough, and professional.  Even though he was there from about noon to 4pm, he was able to provide us the very detailed 37 page report late that same night. He welcomed me tagging along and pointing things out and asking questions.  He knows his codes and his limits.  He is one of two licensed home inspectors in Sandpoint.  Don't be fooled by his age; he moves right along and climbs up on the roof and into the attic and crawl spaces. I would not hesitate to hire him again. <br />"

FAQs for complete home inspection projects in Idaho Falls, ID

An electrical inspection usually takes one to two hours. During the inspection, your electrician will follow the National Electrical Code (NEC) to ensure your home is safe and up to legal safety standards. They'll check your electrical system, including wires, appliances, meter box, panel, circuit breakers, and more.

Afterward, you'll receive a detailed checklist of everything they examined, along with a report highlighting any urgent issues—often with photos. They might also offer tips on how to save energy and improve your system's efficiency.

Regular electrical inspections protect your home and family by ensuring that every part of your electrical system operates safely. Scheduling inspections reduces the risk of electrical fires and cuts high insurance premiums by detecting problems early. Inspections defend against hidden system failures and maintain your property’s overall value, making them an essential part of home maintenance.

Full home electrical inspections are essential when buying a new home because every wiring detail must be evaluated. If you are not purchasing a home and have no significant concerns, a basic safety inspection is sufficient. However, for older properties or homes that have not been inspected for a long time, a comprehensive inspection is required to detect hidden issues and ensure complete safety.
