"Rob and Deb, Carthage TX We cannot even begin to give our Inspector, Brandon Simpson a high enough rating. Brandon Simpson was reliable, professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. My husband and I feel like Brandon Simpson treated us with respect and did an excellent job inspecting and evaluating incompleted repairs and damages done by a prior Contractor. Brandon explained things to us in layman terms and was very patient, considerate and accommodating to any questions or concerns we had. We highly respect Longview Home Inspections for sending out such professional and qualified worker's as Brandon Simpson. We would definitely recommend your company services."

"We had a few glitches along the way, but Matthew was the consummate professional in handling the project even though it was not his center of expertise. When it comes time to fix the pitched parts of our roof, he will be the only one I call. Thank you Avco."

"We were all set to close on our home we were building until a last minute inspection requirement popped up. This was the Friday before thanksgiving and finding any kind of professional services last minute was very tough. If we were unable to obtain an inspector before thanksgiving it would have delayed closing for at least a month and possibly lost the house all together. Mr. Thompson adjusted his schedule to accommodate us on short notice and made it happen. He single handed saved Christmas for my family. The inspection process was also very thorough and easy. Very professional report provided."

"Ernie Haas provided a very thorough examination of our roof which enabled us (after much back and forth with our roofer (DCF Contracting)) to ensure that all necessary and required repairs were made to our roof. Mr. Haas stayed in contact with us for more than a month to ensure that any questions or issues we had were addressed."

FAQs for complete home inspection projects in Tyler, TX

An electrical inspection usually takes one to two hours. During the inspection, your electrician will follow the National Electrical Code (NEC) to ensure your home is safe and up to legal safety standards. They'll check your electrical system, including wires, appliances, meter box, panel, circuit breakers, and more.

Afterward, you'll receive a detailed checklist of everything they examined, along with a report highlighting any urgent issues—often with photos. They might also offer tips on how to save energy and improve your system's efficiency.

Regular electrical inspections protect your home and family by ensuring that every part of your electrical system operates safely. Scheduling inspections reduces the risk of electrical fires and cuts high insurance premiums by detecting problems early. Inspections defend against hidden system failures and maintain your property’s overall value, making them an essential part of home maintenance.

Full home electrical inspections are essential when buying a new home because every wiring detail must be evaluated. If you are not purchasing a home and have no significant concerns, a basic safety inspection is sufficient. However, for older properties or homes that have not been inspected for a long time, a comprehensive inspection is required to detect hidden issues and ensure complete safety.
