"I recently hired Gortney Home Inspections for a home inspection and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The final report mainly consisted of photos compiled into a PDF, highlighting visible issues like gaps or cracks that even a first-time home buyer could easily notice. I was expecting a more thorough evaluation and professional guidance, including time to discuss findings or ask questions, but that did not happen. Based on my experience, I would recommend choosing an inspector who performs comprehensive system checks and takes the time to explain their findings ? something most clients would reasonably expect for the money you pay."
