"This was my first time to hire an ANGIE contractor. Joseph is the most highly qualified home inspector I have ever hired. He was punctual, professional, honest, and thorough. When we spoke over the phone, he asked several questions, answered all of my questions, and explained all the different inspections I should consider. The call lasted almost 40 minutes! When he arrived for the inspection, he told he would explain the inspection results in person after he was finished, and then send the actual inspection report later that day via email, which he did. His inspection included photos and comments about areas that needed attention (code and safety violations, etc) and cost estimates for each issue. Also included were the age, size, make/model, etc. of all appliances and systems on the property. He was the first of several contractors to contact me right after I sent out requests. "We hired Accurate Home Inspections for a home purchase. Douglas Mudge was our certified professional inspector. He was easy to contact and made himself available during the limited time we had to get the inspection done. Before inspecting the house, we spoke to Doug about which areas of the house required inspection and which ones were optional. He was upfront with costs of inspections and which ones he thought were not really needed for the year of that particular house. On the day of the inspection, Doug arrived on time and kept the inspection moving the entire day. We walked through the entire house with him during the inspection which was very helpful in answering some questions we had about the house. The report with detailed pictures was easy to read, straight forward and delivered in a timely manner."

"I wanted to write about our experiences with Cedrick Jones and Gold Star Adjusters. Our insurance company was planning to not pay us for major damage we sustained during a wind storm that hit our house around Feb 2020. Even though water came into the house and was inside the wall, they told us that the damages were only worth about $2K or so and that it would be a cheap fix and the amount conveniently was below our deductible threshold. Mr. Jones was able to force the insurance company to pay out more than enough money for us to hire professionals to come out and rebuild most of the interior and some of the exterior wall where the water was coming from. If it wasn't for him, we would have been on the hook for several thousands of dollars worth of repairs. Mr. Jones also took the time to look over our insurance policy to make sure that they hadn't hidden high deductibles on other items on our policy to prevent any future surprises. I wanted to let you know that Mr. Jones handled everything above and beyond the normal level of care and professionalism one would expect from an adjuster. He spent several hours at our home ensuring that any and all damages were fully accounted for and held the insurance company accountable for payment of the damage claims."
