Wind Walker was a very nice man, and his confidence in addressing the problem helped me get thru the issue. I ripped out my moldy kitchen cabinet, some flooring, and even a bunch of drywall, and the. I had Mr. Walker come in and fog my house with his amazing biocide... it took all but 30 minutes and another 30 minutes before I could go back inside. The rate was fair and I have been feeling better ever since. Would highly recommend Walkers home & commercial inspections to any home owner looking into getting their house remediated for black mold. "Things did not go well from the very beginning. Their representative by the name of Alan, who did not even provide me with a business card, came out to give me a free inspection.  No sooner than we started discussing the inspection that he stated that I had to commit to a first-time charge of $1,500 before they could do the inspection and/or provide their services; and that there would be an yearly charge of $395.00 per year to maintain my property free of termites.
I told him I just wanted the free inspection and he stated that was not possible without the commitment.
I have never dealt with a company that refused to do a free inspection unless I committed "up front" to their service agreement, and I have had two prior estimates done in the last two weeks, I wanted to get a third estimate before proceeding.. 
I will never consider using this company again.

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
