Dan and Tina put me at ease right away and patiently explained their process. Through the buying and selling of several houses I thought I knew what to expect of a home inspection. Let me just say, this FAR exceeded my expectations! Dan and Tina arrived promptly on time and spent nearly five hours going over my 1900sf home. From the roof to the crawlspace and everything in between, they examined/tested every component of my home. Problems identified were explained in detail with recommendations. At my request, I was also given recommendations for reliable contractors that could perform necessary repairs. "Vic and his assisstant showed up at the house early and started inspection of the outside of the house before I even got there. They were very thorough, taking photos of each area they inspected, both inside the house and out. He explained where there might be potential problems as he found them. He emailed a very detailed report early the next day and included photos to illustrate his findings. He pointed out that the roof was at the end of it's lifecycle and pointed out others issues that needed immediate attention. The inspection took place approximately two weeks before Hurricane Issaic blew through Louisiana. Based on the inspection report, I knew what areas to look out for during the final walk thru prior to closing. I found that the roof had leaked significantly during the hurricane. The damage was bad enough that I decided not to purchase the house. I do plan to use A-Pro home inspection services again when I find another house I want to purchase. <br />"
