"I was running slightly late due to having to drop my wife off at a meeting. Jeff was at the house when I showed up and had already checked the outside and the roof. He introduced himself and I introduced myself and my two kids (ages 4 and 2). The kids immediately started to run around the empty house like it was there first time in a free for all candy store. Jeff took it in stride and it didn’t even seem to faze him. He then pulled out his infrared camera and showed me how it worked before checking the walls with it to see if there were any areas where heat was escaping. We talked about kids and family a little bit but he kept me on track with the inspection by explaining the good and bad things he saw as he saw them. We started in the living room and as he checked the walls he also checked the outlets and lights. By this time the kids have thrown two tantrums and pulled me aside to solve minor disputes. Jeff however would always start where we left off and even found a few toys for the kids to play with. (He found them hiding in the empty house during the inspection; I would have never seen them.) We went to the kitchen next and again checked the walls and all appliances. He even found a weird lonely switch underneath the sink that seemed to have no function. He checked the sink for leaks and he checked the lights. This continued from room to room with a few more "children" interruptions but less than before due to the toys. He even had me check the attic with him so I could see the insulation cover that was in the roof. At the end of it all he answered all my questions and didn’t have any problems with my more than usual rambunctious kids. What truly amazed me however was that we finished the inspection at about 9 at night and by 8 in the morning the next day he emailed me the report complete with pictures of all the discrepancies. The price was reasonable and the service was fantastic."
