"I'm a local Realtor in the treasure valley. I recently had the pleasure of working with Josh from Good-Co Home Inspections, and I couldn't be more impressed with the exceptional service my clients received. From start to finish, our experience was nothing short of outstanding. First and foremost, Josh demonstrated remarkable efficiency and a deep well of knowledge. His keen eye and expertise were evident throughout the inspection process. Not only did he identify crucial issues, but he also took the time to patiently explain each item he found. I greatly appreciated his willingness to answer my client's questions and provide clear explanations, making them feel confident and well-informed. One aspect that truly set Good-Co Home Inspections apart was their professionalism and honesty. Unlike some inspectors who tend to over-dramatize minor issues, Josh approached the inspection with a balanced perspective. He accurately assessed the severity of each problem and didn't create unnecessary panic over easily fixable matters. This level-headed approach speaks volumes about their integrity and commitment to their clients' best interests. Moreover, I was pleasantly surprised by the affordability of Good-Co Home Inspections services. Quality often comes at a premium, but Good-Co Home Inspections managed to provide top-notch expertise without breaking the bank. Their transparent and reasonable pricing structure made it even more evident that they value their clients' satisfaction above all else. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Good-Co Home Inspections to anyone in need of a home inspector who goes above and beyond. Their efficiency, knowledge, patience, honesty, and affordability make them an invaluable asset in the world of home inspections."

"We went with Home Inspectors of Idaho because they were the first company to respond to our request, very timely. We had a house inspected prior to purchase. Dan Bennetts came all the way out to Mountain Home from Boise. His flat rate fee was $350 for a 3 hour inspection and collected the money after he preformed the inspection and showed us his findings. He was very very thorough. Spent an hour showing us all that he had found and answering all our questions. Very professional and courteous. The sellers had to fix many things found on his report in order for our VA load to be approved. Highly recommend."

"I needed a certified mold inspection for a mortgage lender. I found Cale’s company on the HomeAdvisor website. I called him and he was able to come to inspect the house the same day. He was right on time, the cost was very reasonable, and he is very knowledgeable. I highly recommend him."

"Very good experience. The technician was punctual and very professional. After giving him a description of the issue he did an inspection and found the problem fast. He did not leave until he verified several times everything was working properly. "As a realtor in Idaho my clients have hired Justin at Capstone Inspections for two different home inspections. Justin was very busy with other inspections but he managed to fit my clients in on short notice. He was very thorough with the home inspection and the report is extensive. These inspections have allowed the clients the opportunity to negotiate important repairs and a fair price based on the information that he provided. Thank you for your hard work."

"The technician did an excellent job. It did take a while to get the repair finished, but that was due to Bertazzoni delivering the parts. I have had multiple problems with this particular appliance. My range now works better than it did when new, but I have a feeling that even if I have continuing problems with it, American Home Shield will just repair rather than replace due to the cost of the range. By the way, I'm not exactly sure of the date of the repair."

FAQs for complete home inspection projects in Idaho City, ID

An electrical inspection usually takes one to two hours. During the inspection, your electrician will follow the National Electrical Code (NEC) to ensure your home is safe and up to legal safety standards. They'll check your electrical system, including wires, appliances, meter box, panel, circuit breakers, and more.

Afterward, you'll receive a detailed checklist of everything they examined, along with a report highlighting any urgent issues—often with photos. They might also offer tips on how to save energy and improve your system's efficiency.

Regular electrical inspections protect your home and family by ensuring that every part of your electrical system operates safely. Scheduling inspections reduces the risk of electrical fires and cuts high insurance premiums by detecting problems early. Inspections defend against hidden system failures and maintain your property’s overall value, making them an essential part of home maintenance.

Full home electrical inspections are essential when buying a new home because every wiring detail must be evaluated. If you are not purchasing a home and have no significant concerns, a basic safety inspection is sufficient. However, for older properties or homes that have not been inspected for a long time, a comprehensive inspection is required to detect hidden issues and ensure complete safety.
