"Brenton is an absolute professional. From the start, he provided a detailed proposal and clear scope of work that set him apart. Despite frigid, record-breaking winter conditions, he arrived exactly on time and spent several hours performing an incredibly thorough inspection of both the interior and exterior of the roof. His final assessment was high-quality, technically detailed, and expertly organized. Brenton’s multiple certifications gave us total confidence in his findings, and his thoughtful, friendly approach made a stressful situation much easier. If you need a knowledgeable, independent expert who provides a meticulous and unbiased report, I highly recommend Brenton and H&H Property Inspections, LLC."

Small jobs welcome

"They were friendly and thorough. I heard from them immediately, scheduled with them within a week and they completed the work in less than 8 hours (and tidied up as they worked!). I had many household outlets that needed repaired or replaced as well as repair to improper wiring to my sump pump. They explained the work they would be doing, and the price quoted was the price I paid. It felt like I had a well-qualified family member helping me around my home. My house has many opportunities for improvement. They will be the only ones I call to have them done!"

"I cannot recomend A1 Sewer Cleaning enough. Roto-Rooter spent over 3 hours trying to unclog the sewer line but we unable. A1 came the following morning and the drain was cleared in less than a half hour. They even hosed the basement floor afterwards. Mel and Curtis did the work and were awsome. I wood highly recommend them."

FAQs for complete home inspection projects in Pittsburgh, PA

An electrical inspection usually takes one to two hours. During the inspection, your electrician will follow the National Electrical Code (NEC) to ensure your home is safe and up to legal safety standards. They'll check your electrical system, including wires, appliances, meter box, panel, circuit breakers, and more.

Afterward, you'll receive a detailed checklist of everything they examined, along with a report highlighting any urgent issues—often with photos. They might also offer tips on how to save energy and improve your system's efficiency.

Regular electrical inspections protect your home and family by ensuring that every part of your electrical system operates safely. Scheduling inspections reduces the risk of electrical fires and cuts high insurance premiums by detecting problems early. Inspections defend against hidden system failures and maintain your property’s overall value, making them an essential part of home maintenance.

Full home electrical inspections are essential when buying a new home because every wiring detail must be evaluated. If you are not purchasing a home and have no significant concerns, a basic safety inspection is sufficient. However, for older properties or homes that have not been inspected for a long time, a comprehensive inspection is required to detect hidden issues and ensure complete safety.
