"Troy Galloway did an awesome job inspecting our new home. He provided us with a very thorough report and was even available for multiple follow-up questions. On top of that, he was by far the most affordable of the quotes I received. He was such a pleasure to deal with throughout the entire process. Highly recommend."

"Jeff was very professional. He listened well. He was available immediately. My tenants were impressed by him and his willingness to communicate with them. He answered all of their questions and concerns, even though that was not their home. I will recommend him to all I know who will need this service down the road. Thanks Jeff for your experience and expertise."

"Jim was amazing! His price was phenomenal compared to other local inspectors. His report was spot on. I live in a county where there are no codes or permits required but he inspected to code and pointed out things that could be improved based on surrounding counties' requirements. He did not have to go into t his much detail. He also did a great job communicating with the seller, who was on-site during the inspection. There is ALOT to a home inspection, there are pages and pages of info and the end has all of the deficiencies they find. It caused me to have a bit of anxiety about buying. After the inspection he spent quite some time on the phone with me going thru each aspect of the house, explaining the goods and the bad. He helped me work thru what would eventually need to be replaced due to general use, and what was a need to repair now. He listed all things that didn't meet code, or required repair or maintenance, but spent time explaining all of this. The seller had not uncovered the septic for my septic inspection and Jim went out of his way and helped the seller locate his septic. My agent said that is a minimum of $175 normally. Jim did not ask for any compensation from this, and was also not the septic inspector so did not receive any money from that inspection. You can not go wrong with Home Check Inspection Service!!!"

"The inspections that James did on our home were very thorough. He is very informative with everything he goes over. And will explain it all to you as he goes. He not only pin pointed the major problems but small ones to. James gave me and my wife great advice about out home. He helped to make it turn key ready. I will be using him and his company from now on out and will be referring him to everyone I know."

"I contacted Mike about a home inspection that we needed ASAP due to a tight window til close and he responded immediately and had an inspection scheduled for a couple days later. Mike showed up before my wife and I had arrived and had already gave a once over of the outside of the house and began his inspection. The house we are purchasing is over 100 years old, so I wanted a thorough inspection and Mike gave us exactly that. He left no stone unturned and pointed out to us everything in the house (within the scope of his inspection) that needed to be fixed. Once his work was completed, he provided us with a detailed inspection report later that night. <br /> I'd highly recommend Mike as a home inspector (and especially if you are purchasing an older house). <br />"

FAQs for complete home inspection projects in Saint-Louis, MO

An electrical inspection usually takes one to two hours. During the inspection, your electrician will follow the National Electrical Code (NEC) to ensure your home is safe and up to legal safety standards. They'll check your electrical system, including wires, appliances, meter box, panel, circuit breakers, and more.

Afterward, you'll receive a detailed checklist of everything they examined, along with a report highlighting any urgent issues—often with photos. They might also offer tips on how to save energy and improve your system's efficiency.

Regular electrical inspections protect your home and family by ensuring that every part of your electrical system operates safely. Scheduling inspections reduces the risk of electrical fires and cuts high insurance premiums by detecting problems early. Inspections defend against hidden system failures and maintain your property’s overall value, making them an essential part of home maintenance.

Full home electrical inspections are essential when buying a new home because every wiring detail must be evaluated. If you are not purchasing a home and have no significant concerns, a basic safety inspection is sufficient. However, for older properties or homes that have not been inspected for a long time, a comprehensive inspection is required to detect hidden issues and ensure complete safety.
