"Called on the Dec. 9 and the tech was heee in 8 hours. Wow what a difference between this home warranty to the last home warranty I had, it would be a week before they got someone out here and that would only happen if I continued to hound them to get someone out here. It put my faith back in home warranty again where was lost. Always had home warranty’s when I own my own homes. Never had a problem when I came from the DFW area to West Virginia . I just thought that West Virginia didn’t have people doing home warranty’s special after I had select home warranty’s it would take sometimes two weeks to get somebody out here and that was because they allowed me to call a technician to come out then you would have tell the technician that they needed to call select home warranty to work out a deal before fixing my problem. They done this to me every time. Nobody works on the weekends so if it happens during the weekend you file your claim but the catch of it is that the 48hrs they told it could get a hold of you doesn’t start until Monday morning and stops at 6 on fridays. Listen if you take my advice of a home owner that’s had a home warranty for 30 yrs stay away from select warranty. I had choice before and they always have done me right. It put my faith back in having repairs done in a timely manner"

"We had such a great experience with Paul's company in renovating our guest bath, we decided to use him for our master bath renovation.  Paul was involved from start to finish.  He helped us choose tile, granite, paint color, plumbing fixtures, made reasonable and experienced suggestions and monitored the process all the way to completion.  I could email Paul at any time and he would respond most time in less than 15 minutes.  We had a couple of changes from the original plan.  Paul was flexible and adjusted accordingly with no complaint but always with a "Yes we can.". Paul has great contacts and suggests what he feels are the best to complete a job.  Because of that, our master bath is stupendous. Rex is "the man".  There is nothing he cannot do.  Not only did he do the majority of the work in our master bath, he offered to complete several "honey do" list items for me.  He was normally here when I came home from work to go over what was done for the day.  He and Paul have a great eye for detail and if something is not to their specifications, they do whatever it takes to make it perfect.  One example is Paul noticed, when he first visited, that took a rather lengthy amount of time for the water to warm up in the shower.  He & Rex recommended some type gravity water system so the water would be warm almost immediately.  In the past I would turn on the shower, make the bed, go to the restroom, undress, and tap my foot for several minutes before I could get into the shower.  Now I can turn the water on, undress, and hop right in.  Not only is it a time saver, it is a conservation saver, which is something important to me. Our painter, Mark, was very good also.  Not only was the painting done well, but there are none of those "oops" spots where the paintbrush accidentally touched something.  He spent a lot of time prepping the job by filling in spots and sanding.  A great job there. I highly recommend Paul and his company for your renovation needs.  If we decide to do anything additional in the future, Paul will be who I call."

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
