"I plan to sell my home. I knew I needed to reroof, but wanted a complete pitcture of any and all other things which needed attention for health and safety, or functionality, as well as what was mandatory because of code and what was optional at the moment. That's what I got. Some parts of the inspection report were a little different from what I recalled discussing with the inspector, but I am very pleased with the thoroughness of the report and am using it as a guide to prioritize repairs and updates prior to listing my home."

"Tyler M. was able to come on very short notice to do a pre-offer inspection in the Woodinville area. He is a prompt, thorough, and courteous professional who completed a rigorous inspection of the home followed by an accompanying walkthrough and rundown of all of his findings. A full report with guidance was provided the following morning that allowed us to better assess the condition of the home prior to any further negotiations. What separates Tyler is his clear dedication to his work and support to his clients. I contacted him weeks later for guidance and recommendations on seeking remedies to some of the issues that cropped up in the inspection report and Tyler provided resources and additional suggestions on how to achieve those ends. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone."

"He inspected my condo and justified all my fears - he found cracks, aluminum wiring, and provided me with pictures and explanations of his findings. He was very helpful indeed; the packet of information provided was then shown to the HOA board to get those repairs fixed. He has in-depth knowledge of structural damages. Communication skills were fabulous!"

FAQs for complete home inspection projects in Tacoma, WA

An electrical inspection usually takes one to two hours. During the inspection, your electrician will follow the National Electrical Code (NEC) to ensure your home is safe and up to legal safety standards. They'll check your electrical system, including wires, appliances, meter box, panel, circuit breakers, and more.

Afterward, you'll receive a detailed checklist of everything they examined, along with a report highlighting any urgent issues—often with photos. They might also offer tips on how to save energy and improve your system's efficiency.

Regular electrical inspections protect your home and family by ensuring that every part of your electrical system operates safely. Scheduling inspections reduces the risk of electrical fires and cuts high insurance premiums by detecting problems early. Inspections defend against hidden system failures and maintain your property’s overall value, making them an essential part of home maintenance.

Full home electrical inspections are essential when buying a new home because every wiring detail must be evaluated. If you are not purchasing a home and have no significant concerns, a basic safety inspection is sufficient. However, for older properties or homes that have not been inspected for a long time, a comprehensive inspection is required to detect hidden issues and ensure complete safety.
