"Very communicative, showed up on time as scheduled and did a very thorough and professional inspection within the project area and throughout the outer boundaries of the home. Would definitely refer this company to anyone who’s in need of a Home Inspection."

"I was on the fence whether I should hire my own inspector for my new construction home. I was so glad I did! Mr. Goolsby was very thorough and found code violations that had been missed by the county inspector. These issues were addressed and resolved. He also took the time to followup with me to make sure that these issues had been taken care of even after he had been paid. I would highly recommend Mr. Goolsby as an inspector. He was worth every penny!"

"If you need a home inspection, call Marion Hodges and Will Hodges with Home Inspection Services. I have a new construction and wasn't sure if I wanted to get it inspected. After talking to Marion Hodges, I decided to move forward with the inspection. After they completed the inspection, it was worth the money I spent. When they arrived, we introduced ourselves and I then got out of their way. After they finished the inspection, they reviewed the results with me. They explained everything in detail while showing me pictures of their work and their findings. The report revealed some of the following: a missing brick next to a outside outlet, a completely loose brick going up the front stairs, no caulking or seal around the light above the garage door, no caulking or seal at the bottom corners of the front entry door / basement exit door, too much water pressure coming into the home, faulty electrical wiring, water leakage in the basement, etc. True professionals. Call them."

"Rob was extremely professional choosing to give us the whole day rather than rushing the job, he climbed on the roof and made a really detail inspection. What really impressed me was that Rob met me at the property as he finished and spent 2 hours working through the details giving us the opportunity to look at all items onsite and discuss any course of action required to resolve, approximate time frame before replacement is required and a general idea of costs. Thanks Rob."

FAQs for complete home inspection projects in Alpharetta, GA

An electrical inspection usually takes one to two hours. During the inspection, your electrician will follow the National Electrical Code (NEC) to ensure your home is safe and up to legal safety standards. They'll check your electrical system, including wires, appliances, meter box, panel, circuit breakers, and more.

Afterward, you'll receive a detailed checklist of everything they examined, along with a report highlighting any urgent issues—often with photos. They might also offer tips on how to save energy and improve your system's efficiency.

Regular electrical inspections protect your home and family by ensuring that every part of your electrical system operates safely. Scheduling inspections reduces the risk of electrical fires and cuts high insurance premiums by detecting problems early. Inspections defend against hidden system failures and maintain your property’s overall value, making them an essential part of home maintenance.

Full home electrical inspections are essential when buying a new home because every wiring detail must be evaluated. If you are not purchasing a home and have no significant concerns, a basic safety inspection is sufficient. However, for older properties or homes that have not been inspected for a long time, a comprehensive inspection is required to detect hidden issues and ensure complete safety.
