Customers say: Quality work

"We walked around the property so I could familiarize him with changes we planned to make, showed location of various problems I thought I saw, then I left him to do his work. He was very thorough and professional, the report was great and I would highly recommend his services again. I also plan to have him inspect my current home in preparation for sellling it myself."

"Patrick was pivotal in credibly identifying safety, code, workmanship, quality, and structural issues on our home addition and garage project done by a Mason, Michigan builder who, despite being verified as licensed and insured with a 5 star review rating, proved to be a failure on all levels of home building. Until the inspection with Patrick of The Buyer’s Inspector, we had no idea how grossly misplaced our trust was in this builder. When COVID-19 shutdown our project we began noticing quality problems. This led us to hire Patrick from The Buyer’s Inspector. He was thorough, detailed, and spot on for the major problems as well as minor issues he identified during his inspection, including the multiple structural deficiencies. He recommended we hire a structural engineer to investigate these deficiencies in detail and the engineer verified all of Patrick's findings. It has been a very trying time legally fighting for our project to be done right but we thank Patrick for identifying all the problems using his extensive knowledge, experience, and understanding of Michigan's Building Construction Codes and industry standard building practices. Without his help we would have likely been stuck with this horrible build project that is riddled with safety, structural, workmanship, quality, and code issues. We highly recommend Patrick to anyone needing a thorough and detailed home inspection."

"I wanted to share with you that my home inspector (Bill) truly went above and beyond for me today and far exceeded my already very high expectations! I hired MichiganPro.com for a termite inspection and well water analysis for my Veterans Affairs mortgage refinance requirements. Instead of getting what he needed and getting out or rushing through things, Bill not only let my son and I follow him around, he patiently and thoroughly answered our 10,000 questions about our house. And most importantly for us, he pointed out every little thing around our house that has the potential of becoming something more, even though those things were not directly related to what we hired him for. And as a HUGE added bonus, he gave us great tips and tricks to save a ton of money by easily and efficiently fixing everything ourselves. In my opinion, he genuinely went the extra mile to make sure that I was a very satisfied customer and very well informed homeowner! If you ever need it, MichiganPro.com Home Inspections is truly your best bet!"

"Living in NY, everything was done remotely. He made himself available to answer any questions promptly weather it be big or small. He was very honest and frank which I appreciate. His inspection was extremely well done and gave me the piece of mind I was looking for when I was inspection phase of my home purchase. Thank you!!!!"

"Kase did our new home inspection as well as the well/septic for the home we were selling. He was on time, professional and extremely pleasant to work with. When the VA needed some additional documents for our mortgage he got them right over to us (same day). And the owner and office manager were always friendly too. I would hire this company again and again."

"The technician did an excellent job. It did take a while to get the repair finished, but that was due to Bertazzoni delivering the parts. I have had multiple problems with this particular appliance. My range now works better than it did when new, but I have a feeling that even if I have continuing problems with it, American Home Shield will just repair rather than replace due to the cost of the range. By the way, I'm not exactly sure of the date of the repair."

"Every aspect of working with Michael & Central Home Inspections has exceeded my expectations. The level of responsiveness, professionalism, and attention to detail have been absolutely fantastic. He was able to get out to the home within 48 hours, and had our inspection report to us within 24 hours of the inspection, which was on a Friday. We are 2 hours from the home we purchased and really needed someone we could count on as we would not be present for the inspection. Michael was the perfect choice and clearly had our best interests at heart. He was happy to answer numerous questions, provide guidance, and has left us feeling very confident in our choice to purchase this home. 5 stars!! You will not regret choosing Central Home Inspections."

FAQs for complete home inspection projects in Fountain, MI

An electrical inspection usually takes one to two hours. During the inspection, your electrician will follow the National Electrical Code (NEC) to ensure your home is safe and up to legal safety standards. They'll check your electrical system, including wires, appliances, meter box, panel, circuit breakers, and more.

Afterward, you'll receive a detailed checklist of everything they examined, along with a report highlighting any urgent issues—often with photos. They might also offer tips on how to save energy and improve your system's efficiency.

Regular electrical inspections protect your home and family by ensuring that every part of your electrical system operates safely. Scheduling inspections reduces the risk of electrical fires and cuts high insurance premiums by detecting problems early. Inspections defend against hidden system failures and maintain your property’s overall value, making them an essential part of home maintenance.

Full home electrical inspections are essential when buying a new home because every wiring detail must be evaluated. If you are not purchasing a home and have no significant concerns, a basic safety inspection is sufficient. However, for older properties or homes that have not been inspected for a long time, a comprehensive inspection is required to detect hidden issues and ensure complete safety.
