"I needed a home inspection company that was reliable, the owner Katherine had come to speak at a home buyers class I'd attended and made such an impression on me, with explaining what to look for in a home inspector, and why we should look for certain qualities. Our understanding was that there would be a comprehensive survey and report on the home.  The reality was that the company was focused on primarily energy conservation and doing work to make the home more efficient in that regard.  They took readings and checked airflow but never really identified specifically where the problem areas were or any of the readings they took.

In the end there was no "report" only a detailed quote for the list of work they suggested be done.  Based on the cost and the very long payback period based on their projection of utility savings we elected not to go forward with their services. 

The staff was responsive and was conscientious about follow up and scheduling but I really did not need three visits to accomplish what was done.
