"I was thankful that I could find an inspector who could do a general home inspection of a home we are purchasing. She took 3.5 hours to go through the house and I thought that would be she would be thorough, I believe she was. I was also thankful that she would allow me, at my request, to come down at the end of her inspection so she could explain the problems and walked me through to let me see issues in person. She also told me what issues could cause us problems getting home owners insurance and if we had a FHA loan. She also put me at ease that while the issue would cause a problem we would just have to have the repairs done within 30 days of closing. After meeting her in person I felt more at ease with the handful of issues we knew about and with others we were worried about that could be a bigger problem. She was also professional and cared about her job very much. I would definitely recommend her and her company to friends."

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
