"We are buying a house in Georgia, but living in Indiana. We have never seen the home in person. Jonathon was extremely helpful and easy to work with. He answered all my questions immediately and even did the inspection on a Sunday. The report was wonderful and included pictures. I feel very confident about the home we are buying thanks to Jonathon inspecting it for us. I would highly recommend Jonathon. Excellent customer service!"

"The home owner had already had an inspection. Everything checked out good so I almost went with it. On a friend's advice I had Paris take a second look. He pointed out things the other inspector had neglected to mention and saved me from making a big mistake. Thank you Paris"

"Edward was friendly and patient, very thorough in his inspection, and made a list of things to show me for my own awareness. His report was typed and sent to me less than 24 hours after the inspection and included excellent photographs to back up any statements he made."

"I received excellent service from Dynamo Home Inspections and owner Dion Parker. He was very polite and personable. He stayed in contact with me before, during, and after the service. After sending the report he called to explain it and made sure I understood everything. He answered all my questions and provided important suggestions. I am completely satisfied and would confidently recommend his services."

"We had some water stains after Debby came through the area. I went to Angi’s list to see who Angi recommend. Called several companies and Real Good Roofing. Dale was out to inspect within a few days. Working with Dale, Bodie and Milton was a breeze. Every step was well explained and the installation was smooth with a very quality job completed. Thank you Angi and Real Good Roofing because I now have a roofer for life."

"In July of 2020 I had substantial work done on my house by Your Exterior Pros. I was thrilled with the work at the time. I was recently in Savannah and was disappointed to see that the "boxes" on the porch are looking terrible. Attached are photos taken recently. I'm surprised that these boxes had deteriorated so quickly as it's not even been three years. I have contacted the company, but they have not replied back. I no longer can recommend them."

"Let me first start by saying I am a picky person. I have a business myself for over 28 years. I found the company South Shore Roofing on the web and requested a quote. Damin the sales representative came to my home and evaluated the condition of my roof on our main house and our guest. We had a whole in guest house roof from a tree branch. The main house was missing multiple shingles from wind damage. He returned within a couple days with the quote and helped with insurance claim paperwork. Brent the site Forman contacted me when the material arrived and supervised the roofing crew. The 7 man roofing crew was fantastic, truly amazing. There work ethics was nothing shy of fantastic. It felt like they were in competition between each other while they we working. Two brothers and 5 cousins working together. I would recommend this company to everyone needing roof repairs. Thank you for the great work !!!!!!!!!!"

"If you can work with Technician/Salesman Dylan Howell, you will be in extremely good hands. Dylan knows what he's doing and helped me to figure out what needed to be done to solve some of the problems we were having in our crawlspace, especially the wet/dampness. He took pictures of everything (including such things as holes in the drier vent and a cook-top vent that was partially disconnected; holes in the sub-floor that needed to be plugged with foam, etc., etc. He was far more thorough than anybody else who came to look at the job, and he was prepared to fix everything, which is just what we needed because we were putting the house up for sale. The others focused only on the insulation, which was the easiest problem to solve. To make a long story short, Dylan was quick with his quote and follow-up. They showed up when they said they would, and did a great job -- with only one mistake. And Dylan found and fixed that mistake two days later when he came over to get paid and do the final inspection. So I recommend them highly, as long as Dylan Howell is on the job. Also, his pricing was very competitive, considering he was taking on the whole job (including a vapor barrier too) and not just part of it. Great work, Performance Energy."

FAQs for home inspection projects in Statesboro, GA

Most mobile home inspections require two to three hours to complete properly. The timeline varies based on your home's size, age, and overall condition. Inspectors need sufficient time to examine all major systems, document their findings, and compile their observations.

If the inspector discovers concerning issues that warrant deeper investigation, the process may take longer. For the most thorough assessment, try to schedule your inspection during daylight hours when visibility is optimal.

Pay close attention to water damage indicators like ceiling stains, warped flooring, or musty odors. Structural concerns, including uneven floors, sagging rooflines, or doors that won't close properly, suggest potential foundation issues. Electrical problems such as flickering lights, warm outlets, or outdated wiring present serious safety hazards.

Impromptu modifications or repairs performed without proper permits often signal deeper problems. Windows that don't seal properly may indicate structural shifting or water infiltration.

Yes, professional inspectors evaluate the foundation components and anchoring mechanisms during a thorough assessment. They examine support piers, blocks, and tie-downs for proper installation and condition. The inspection includes checking for appropriate ground clearance and adequate ventilation beneath the home.

Proper anchoring is essential for stability during adverse weather conditions. Foundation issues can affect everything from door alignment to plumbing function, making this a critical part of any comprehensive inspection.

Industry professionals recommend scheduling maintenance inspections every two to three years for manufactured homes. Homes in regions with extreme weather conditions may benefit from more frequent evaluations. Consider arranging an inspection after significant storms or if you notice any unusual changes in your home's condition.

Regular assessments help identify minor issues before they develop into major problems. Maintaining documentation of these inspections also provides valuable records for insurance purposes or future sale considerations.

Search for inspectors with certifications from recognized professional organizations in your state. Specialized training or experience with manufactured housing is particularly valuable for these unique structures. Ask potential inspectors about their familiarity with HUD standards for manufactured homes. Professional membership in industry associations often indicates commitment to ongoing education and ethical standards. Request sample reports from prospective inspectors to evaluate their thoroughness and clarity of communication.

Many insurance providers consider inspection results when determining policy rates and coverage terms. A positive report demonstrating well-maintained systems and the absence of hazards may qualify you for better rates. Addressing issues identified during inspection demonstrates proactive maintenance that insurers often reward. Some companies offer specific discounts for homes that meet certain safety and structural standards.

Contact your insurance provider before scheduling an inspection to understand exactly what documentation they require for potential premium reductions.
