"Dan was professional and thorough in his home inspection. I did not require a formal report for this home inspection, however, Dan provided a complete analysis and helped us specific issues that need to be addressed. Dan is also a certified electrician, which provided an additional value add to the home inspection. I would recommend Dan to perform your home inspection."

"I am so happy with the work that Ben from Golden Standard Services, LLC did for me. We had a squirrel in the loft of our garage for weeks!! I tried loud noise and lights, a trap with peanuts in it...everything! But nothing worked. So, I went under Angi to try to get some help. After comparing 2 estimates, I chose Ben. His price was less than half of the other contractor that called me, he set up the trap the next day, and caught the sneaky squirrel in 24 hours flat!! Best decision ever!! He also did a phenomenal job patching the hole that the squirrel had made (he is also a Home Inspector and knows about quality repair work). He took his time, cleaning up a months worth of feces, and making sure that there was not a nest. Ben is the real deal, and I am already referring all of my friends and family to him. Choose Golden Standard Services if you want the job done quick and right!"

"Andrey arrived at my home a few hours after I phoned him to inspect my roof Because of moisture on a wall in one bedroom. He was pleasant and professional. Andrey did an inspection in the attic and around the exterior of the house. He is very knowledgeable and gave me an honest opinion of what could be done to fix the problem. I was pleased that I had chosen him to advise me. He is a top notch Roof contractor! 5 stars!"

"I want to state how very pleased I am with the work Buffalo’s Best Roofing did on my house. From the start the project manager Sam introduced himself and we went over the contract and what my expectations were. He made sure everyone on the roof understood what I wanted. I have gardens around the entire house and not one plant was disturbed. The job they did removing and re-installing my gutter helmet was perfect. But what really showed these guys are professionals was the clean up. You would not have known I just had the roof done."

"We just had Scarpone and Sons replace our roof in the middle of winter!! They chose the perfect day to rip off the existing roof and replace it in a little over a day. Lucky for us it stopped snowing just long enough for them to do what they do. They were efficient, fast, and did an excellent job. The roof no longer leaks and we are so happy! I highly recommend them to do YOUR roof. In fact we recommended them to a couple that were thinking of replacing their roof."

"I hired King Quality only 2 weeks ago and within the 2 weeks they came to my home, gave me a price, installed the siding and left my house spotless. I was very nervous making the initial call but they put my mind at ease. It was a pleasure working with them from my 1st call into the office speaking to the ladies then speaking with Jeff to the crew foreman Billy. They definitely lived up to there name. I received King quality!"

"Gold Construction Roofing did a fabulous job completely replacing a porch roof on my Victorian home. They took special care to use materials designed to insure proper draining in a complicated design. In addition, parts of the original wood siding that had been damaged by water, were replaced with exact matching wood siding. This company went way beyond my expectations and I recommend them without reservation. In addition, Tony is an exceptionally nice man to deal with. He gives clear explanations of everything that will be involved in the work he is doing."

Secure Home Inspection is committed to excellence in every aspect of our business. We uphold a standard of integrity bound by fairness, honesty and personal responsibility. Our distinction is the quality of service we bring to our customers. Accurate knowledge of our trade combined with ability is what makes us true professionals. Above all, we are watchful of our customers interests, and make their concerns the basis of our business.
Most mobile home inspections require two to three hours to complete properly. The timeline varies based on your home's size, age, and overall condition. Inspectors need sufficient time to examine all major systems, document their findings, and compile their observations.
If the inspector discovers concerning issues that warrant deeper investigation, the process may take longer. For the most thorough assessment, try to schedule your inspection during daylight hours when visibility is optimal.
Pay close attention to water damage indicators like ceiling stains, warped flooring, or musty odors. Structural concerns, including uneven floors, sagging rooflines, or doors that won't close properly, suggest potential foundation issues. Electrical problems such as flickering lights, warm outlets, or outdated wiring present serious safety hazards.
Impromptu modifications or repairs performed without proper permits often signal deeper problems. Windows that don't seal properly may indicate structural shifting or water infiltration.
Yes, professional inspectors evaluate the foundation components and anchoring mechanisms during a thorough assessment. They examine support piers, blocks, and tie-downs for proper installation and condition. The inspection includes checking for appropriate ground clearance and adequate ventilation beneath the home.
Proper anchoring is essential for stability during adverse weather conditions. Foundation issues can affect everything from door alignment to plumbing function, making this a critical part of any comprehensive inspection.
Industry professionals recommend scheduling maintenance inspections every two to three years for manufactured homes. Homes in regions with extreme weather conditions may benefit from more frequent evaluations. Consider arranging an inspection after significant storms or if you notice any unusual changes in your home's condition.
Regular assessments help identify minor issues before they develop into major problems. Maintaining documentation of these inspections also provides valuable records for insurance purposes or future sale considerations.
Search for inspectors with certifications from recognized professional organizations in your state. Specialized training or experience with manufactured housing is particularly valuable for these unique structures. Ask potential inspectors about their familiarity with HUD standards for manufactured homes. Professional membership in industry associations often indicates commitment to ongoing education and ethical standards. Request sample reports from prospective inspectors to evaluate their thoroughness and clarity of communication.
Many insurance providers consider inspection results when determining policy rates and coverage terms. A positive report demonstrating well-maintained systems and the absence of hazards may qualify you for better rates. Addressing issues identified during inspection demonstrates proactive maintenance that insurers often reward. Some companies offer specific discounts for homes that meet certain safety and structural standards.
Contact your insurance provider before scheduling an inspection to understand exactly what documentation they require for potential premium reductions.
