"Chris is a true professional. I called on a Wednesday afternoon, and my inspection and repairs were done by Friday morning. His communication was amazing! Other companies wanted to schedule me a week out just to get an inspection. Thanks Chris for helping me to check another thing off my list as I go through the home selling process!!!"

"I had concerns about my roof and contacted E & H Roofing to evaluate my concerns. I contacted them at the recommendation of a co-worker, who raved about their quality of work, professionalism and customer service for the work they did on his roof last summer. I was not disappointed! My roof was inspected and determined that I had a warranty issue. E & H Roofing explained every step of process, and assisted me in filing the warranty claim. When we were ready to replace the roof, the owner, Edgar, met with us to explain the work that would be done from removal and disposal of the old shingles, prepping the roof, delivery and installing the new shingles. He estimated how long it would take to complete the project, answered all my questions and he assured me that even when the old shingles were removed, that the roof would be water tight at the end of each day. Of course it rain the night that all the old shingles were off, and Edgar's promise was gold, not a drop of rain came into the house! They cleaned up and left the property spotless when they were done, EVERY DAY of the project, Not only that, Edgar stopped by the house after each day was completed to explain what had been acompished that day, and what was planned for the following day. Even with the rain, they completed the job on time, and even a bit ahead of his estimated timeframe! After the job was completed, Edgar and the Office Manager, came to our house to insure that we were happy with the finished project and to answer any questions that we may have had. They personally delivered our new warranty paperwork and they told us that they had already filed it with the manufacturer. I cannot adequately express how impressed We are with the professionalism, quality of workmanship, and the customer service provided by E & H Roofing! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality, local company, that is very professional and provides GREAT customer service. I have already recommended E & H Roofing to friends and neighbors, and will continue to do so in the future! If I ever need any work or repairs for my roof in the future, I will be contacting E & H Roofing."

"WOW! Jeremy was so thorough in the inspection of our new home. Because of this we were able to get the best deal possible in our final negotiation. Also, communication was easy and on point thru the entire process, and he took the time to explain. all of his findings in word and pictures. We will definitely be using them again!"

"The last thing I wanted to hear as a new home owner was that my roof was actively leaking and needed attention right away. Tyler and Troy did a fantastic job of not only telling me what the problems were, but showing me what they found. I consider myself pretty handy, but admittedly know next to nothing about roofing. They took the time to help educate along the way, which I really appreciated! I felt confident and comfortable with the investment after our meeting. They were able to help me find the financing that fit my project, and my budget. They have continued to stay in touch through each step as we we near construction day. I will update my review after the project is completed, but if the project itself reflects the experience I have had thus far there is no doubt I will still report a 5 star review. Thanks so much for your professionalism!"

Most mobile home inspections require two to three hours to complete properly. The timeline varies based on your home's size, age, and overall condition. Inspectors need sufficient time to examine all major systems, document their findings, and compile their observations.
If the inspector discovers concerning issues that warrant deeper investigation, the process may take longer. For the most thorough assessment, try to schedule your inspection during daylight hours when visibility is optimal.
Pay close attention to water damage indicators like ceiling stains, warped flooring, or musty odors. Structural concerns, including uneven floors, sagging rooflines, or doors that won't close properly, suggest potential foundation issues. Electrical problems such as flickering lights, warm outlets, or outdated wiring present serious safety hazards.
Impromptu modifications or repairs performed without proper permits often signal deeper problems. Windows that don't seal properly may indicate structural shifting or water infiltration.
Yes, professional inspectors evaluate the foundation components and anchoring mechanisms during a thorough assessment. They examine support piers, blocks, and tie-downs for proper installation and condition. The inspection includes checking for appropriate ground clearance and adequate ventilation beneath the home.
Proper anchoring is essential for stability during adverse weather conditions. Foundation issues can affect everything from door alignment to plumbing function, making this a critical part of any comprehensive inspection.
Industry professionals recommend scheduling maintenance inspections every two to three years for manufactured homes. Homes in regions with extreme weather conditions may benefit from more frequent evaluations. Consider arranging an inspection after significant storms or if you notice any unusual changes in your home's condition.
Regular assessments help identify minor issues before they develop into major problems. Maintaining documentation of these inspections also provides valuable records for insurance purposes or future sale considerations.
Search for inspectors with certifications from recognized professional organizations in your state. Specialized training or experience with manufactured housing is particularly valuable for these unique structures. Ask potential inspectors about their familiarity with HUD standards for manufactured homes. Professional membership in industry associations often indicates commitment to ongoing education and ethical standards. Request sample reports from prospective inspectors to evaluate their thoroughness and clarity of communication.
Many insurance providers consider inspection results when determining policy rates and coverage terms. A positive report demonstrating well-maintained systems and the absence of hazards may qualify you for better rates. Addressing issues identified during inspection demonstrates proactive maintenance that insurers often reward. Some companies offer specific discounts for homes that meet certain safety and structural standards.
Contact your insurance provider before scheduling an inspection to understand exactly what documentation they require for potential premium reductions.
