"Tom was great to work with from beginning to end. Quick responses, friendly, knew what to look for and great price. We had some recent hail and a water leak where our upstairs bath is. After inspecting inside and out he determined it was coming from the skylight. Tom got the skylight on order and about a week later Tom came over and replaced it. I really like Tom's attention to detail when on the roof. He used sealant to seal up screw penetrations. While he was up there he also resealed some pipe flashings and other flashings. Little things like go a long way with wanting to refer him. I didn't know that those areas needed to be resealed but he did and took care of it. I would recommend Hennessey RFG!"

"They showed up bright and early on a cold morning. I had a realtor coming by 10:00am to take pictures and list my home. I really needed to have this repaired and buttoned up. Everything went smoothly and was cleaned up. Extremely happy with the results!"

"Brian was on time, professional, descriptive, and very honest about the inspection that was being done on my client's roof. His quick turn around, knowledge, and attention to detail put my client at ease on exactly what needed to be done. Very trustworthy in an industry that is flagged for being non-trustworthy. I would highly recommend Brian the Verity Roofing Team!"

"Mountain Views Construction LLC was one of the names provided to us by the supplier from whom we purchased our Milgard Windows. Mountain Views was highly rated by the supplier, so we called Mountain Views for an estimate for the installation. Aldo, the owner of Mountain Views came to our home and graciously provided a very reasonable estimate. During our initial encounter we were pleased to learn that his company not only installed windows but also did roofing, siding, painting, remodeling, etc. We engaged his company to address our siding installation and fencing needs as well. Our experience with Mountain View was excellent. Aldo ran a very tight ship. His team was very punctual each day and diligent in performing their work. They worked tirelessly to ensure that our projects were completed as per our expectations, ensuring that we were very satisfied with their work. Aldo even went above and beyond. Every one of our needs and concerns was addressed to our satisfaction and the jobs were finished timely. Suffice it to say, we highly recommend Mountain View Construction. Bob and GG"

"We went through months and months of a bad experience with an insurance claim but R.D construction was able to get it all resolved and get our home fixed and finally looking like new. We were beyond satisfied with not only the work and communication from the team but also how soon they got the work done. They were so attentive to us and gave us plenty of time to choose the colors we ended up loving. I would hate to have hail damage again but if it happens we definitely know who we’ll go with for repairs. Completely recommend!"

"The last thing I wanted to hear as a new home owner was that my roof was actively leaking and needed attention right away. Tyler and Troy did a fantastic job of not only telling me what the problems were, but showing me what they found. I consider myself pretty handy, but admittedly know next to nothing about roofing. They took the time to help educate along the way, which I really appreciated! I felt confident and comfortable with the investment after our meeting. They were able to help me find the financing that fit my project, and my budget. They have continued to stay in touch through each step as we we near construction day. I will update my review after the project is completed, but if the project itself reflects the experience I have had thus far there is no doubt I will still report a 5 star review. Thanks so much for your professionalism!"

FAQs for home inspection projects in Cripple Creek, CO

Most mobile home inspections require two to three hours to complete properly. The timeline varies based on your home's size, age, and overall condition. Inspectors need sufficient time to examine all major systems, document their findings, and compile their observations.

If the inspector discovers concerning issues that warrant deeper investigation, the process may take longer. For the most thorough assessment, try to schedule your inspection during daylight hours when visibility is optimal.

Pay close attention to water damage indicators like ceiling stains, warped flooring, or musty odors. Structural concerns, including uneven floors, sagging rooflines, or doors that won't close properly, suggest potential foundation issues. Electrical problems such as flickering lights, warm outlets, or outdated wiring present serious safety hazards.

Impromptu modifications or repairs performed without proper permits often signal deeper problems. Windows that don't seal properly may indicate structural shifting or water infiltration.

Yes, professional inspectors evaluate the foundation components and anchoring mechanisms during a thorough assessment. They examine support piers, blocks, and tie-downs for proper installation and condition. The inspection includes checking for appropriate ground clearance and adequate ventilation beneath the home.

Proper anchoring is essential for stability during adverse weather conditions. Foundation issues can affect everything from door alignment to plumbing function, making this a critical part of any comprehensive inspection.

Industry professionals recommend scheduling maintenance inspections every two to three years for manufactured homes. Homes in regions with extreme weather conditions may benefit from more frequent evaluations. Consider arranging an inspection after significant storms or if you notice any unusual changes in your home's condition.

Regular assessments help identify minor issues before they develop into major problems. Maintaining documentation of these inspections also provides valuable records for insurance purposes or future sale considerations.

Search for inspectors with certifications from recognized professional organizations in your state. Specialized training or experience with manufactured housing is particularly valuable for these unique structures. Ask potential inspectors about their familiarity with HUD standards for manufactured homes. Professional membership in industry associations often indicates commitment to ongoing education and ethical standards. Request sample reports from prospective inspectors to evaluate their thoroughness and clarity of communication.

Many insurance providers consider inspection results when determining policy rates and coverage terms. A positive report demonstrating well-maintained systems and the absence of hazards may qualify you for better rates. Addressing issues identified during inspection demonstrates proactive maintenance that insurers often reward. Some companies offer specific discounts for homes that meet certain safety and structural standards.

Contact your insurance provider before scheduling an inspection to understand exactly what documentation they require for potential premium reductions.
