"John was great, came to inspect our home in Rochester and was professional and had every piece of equipment you could need to give us a detailed look into our house. Even when the seller made a mistake on the sewer and water system types John helped us test both and went above and beyond. Cannot recommend enough if you want a the best and safest bet for an inspection!"

"I was looking for a mobile home and used Rocco twice, I hav e experience with home inspectors as my father was one for many years. Rocco was excellent. Knew his stuff, was friendly and professional. Good home report, good explanations of report and pictures. I ended up buying a mobile home 'as is' and knew exactly what I was getting. Thanks Rocco! Sorry my review took so long. I will (and do) recommend Knight Home Inspections."

"Overall it went great. John was down quickly after I first contacted him. He came out in person to give me information and confirm the online measurements. Between meeting him, reading the reviews online, and the impeccable warranty I felt very comfortable choosing him (the price was in the middle of the other quotes I got). The whole process took 3 real long days. Obviously it is loud and disruptive while they are working... but you only need a new roof once. I would suggest not parking in your driveway as there are a lot of people and trucks. At the end they cleaned up very nicely. They are a legit roofing company so they pull permits. Overall I am quite please for the job, cost, time etc."

"Excellent roofing general contractor! Mel is very knowledgeable about material options and easy to understand when planning best fit for your home and budget. Finished product on my old house was combination of asphalt shingles/metal ice shield and rubber roofing. Getting there included skylight replacement/ carpentry/chimney flashing and a lot of artisan metalwork. Looks great! Pleasure working with the team."

"In short: Adam Vallaincourt LLC is a precision operation, which provides the highest quality of workmanship carried out by expert project managers and craftsmen. Details: In seeking a contractor to replace our skylights and complete associated roofing work, we did a fair amount of research. Ultimately, we narrowed our choices to a few, one of which was Adam Vaillancourt, LLC. We chose Vaillancourt because, from the outset, it was clear that the company understood what we had in mind for the project, as well as what was required to get the best job done. It was also very clear to us that Vaillancourt and its representatives were expert in the work they do and, most importantly, very much had extreme pride in their workmanship and execution—for us, a key element that we search for before engaging a contractor to work on our projects. After going to contract, Vaillancourt’s representatives were very helpful in keeping us up-to-date on the status of our project and its start date. It was always easy to reach out to them, and secure a quick response to our questions. On the work date, the entire team of eight, including and led by expert and highly effective project manager, Derek B., arrived on time and executed all tasks for the project (from site preparation to cleanup) efficiently, quickly, and in a very high quality manner. (It was very clear, from the start, that Derek and his team cared as much as we did about the way in which the work was done and the quality of the completion.) Without doubt, when additional roofing work is required on our home, I will reach out to Vaillancourt, and without reservation recommend them to others."

"Yan and his Pro Warrior Construction team were awesome to work with. We had vinyl siding installed on our home and Yan was quick to respond and come out for my free home estimate. He gave me a quote right there during the estimate and came in thousand of dollars under his compensation. His team arrived early and stayed late every day of the project. They were professional and worked shockingly fast and finished the job ahead of schedule. I would absolutely hire them again for any future home renovation projects I might have and can confidently recommend them to any friends and family members who maybe looking to have work done on their homes as well."

FAQs for home inspection projects in Danville, NH

Most mobile home inspections require two to three hours to complete properly. The timeline varies based on your home's size, age, and overall condition. Inspectors need sufficient time to examine all major systems, document their findings, and compile their observations.

If the inspector discovers concerning issues that warrant deeper investigation, the process may take longer. For the most thorough assessment, try to schedule your inspection during daylight hours when visibility is optimal.

Pay close attention to water damage indicators like ceiling stains, warped flooring, or musty odors. Structural concerns, including uneven floors, sagging rooflines, or doors that won't close properly, suggest potential foundation issues. Electrical problems such as flickering lights, warm outlets, or outdated wiring present serious safety hazards.

Impromptu modifications or repairs performed without proper permits often signal deeper problems. Windows that don't seal properly may indicate structural shifting or water infiltration.

Yes, professional inspectors evaluate the foundation components and anchoring mechanisms during a thorough assessment. They examine support piers, blocks, and tie-downs for proper installation and condition. The inspection includes checking for appropriate ground clearance and adequate ventilation beneath the home.

Proper anchoring is essential for stability during adverse weather conditions. Foundation issues can affect everything from door alignment to plumbing function, making this a critical part of any comprehensive inspection.

Industry professionals recommend scheduling maintenance inspections every two to three years for manufactured homes. Homes in regions with extreme weather conditions may benefit from more frequent evaluations. Consider arranging an inspection after significant storms or if you notice any unusual changes in your home's condition.

Regular assessments help identify minor issues before they develop into major problems. Maintaining documentation of these inspections also provides valuable records for insurance purposes or future sale considerations.

Search for inspectors with certifications from recognized professional organizations in your state. Specialized training or experience with manufactured housing is particularly valuable for these unique structures. Ask potential inspectors about their familiarity with HUD standards for manufactured homes. Professional membership in industry associations often indicates commitment to ongoing education and ethical standards. Request sample reports from prospective inspectors to evaluate their thoroughness and clarity of communication.

Many insurance providers consider inspection results when determining policy rates and coverage terms. A positive report demonstrating well-maintained systems and the absence of hazards may qualify you for better rates. Addressing issues identified during inspection demonstrates proactive maintenance that insurers often reward. Some companies offer specific discounts for homes that meet certain safety and structural standards.

Contact your insurance provider before scheduling an inspection to understand exactly what documentation they require for potential premium reductions.
