"Price was best around! My realtor didn't believe me and wondered how it could be so cheap. It's because Jerome is rounding his first year as a certified home inspector with years of experience prior to this to obtain his certification. He not only contacted me within half hour of showing interest on Angie's website, but scheduled my home inspection for the very next day despite having to travel 1.5 hours to my destination!! Some things were held up on my end and I had to end up rescheduling, which he did so two days later and was very accommodating. I valued that to the upmost. Everything that mattered to me, mattered to him and then some. Because I'm a first time home buyer, I was nervous about vagueness and not knowing what was going on. He was very eager to turn on his "Home Inspection for Dummies" dialog and was a great teacher. Most importantly, his voice not once expressed annoyance with all my questions. Because of Jerome, I confidently selected which tagged inspection issues to choose and which ones not to worry too much about. Honestly, I feel that because he was a "green stick" is what the overall experience so worry free! He's on his toes, very thorough no matter how small or big the home, eager to educate, and inspects above and beyond because he is newer and trying to make a name for himself and his family. I'd go to him time and time again and recommend him to anyone regardless of price, but especially because of the lower fee.
