"We initially contacted RC Roofing to get a bid on a replacement roof (our roof is nearing 20 years old, it had a significant leak over the kitchen, and we needed attic venting). RC was willing to write a bid for the whole roof, but after an inspection, our roofer told us that the roof still had a good deal of life in it - the patch needed was superficial. We were very pleased with the news to say the least (Honestly, I do believe it is sites like this that make that sort of honesty pay off for contractors - so bravo Angie's List!).
The roofer apologized for being too busy to get to our roof "that week" (as if we expected as much) and ended up arriving punctually the next week to do the patch and venting. They were quick and efficient and the work was clean looking. We got an odd little rain in May right after the work was completed (strange for San Diego), so I can say that the leak is fixed well.

"Initially we called Protecta Roofing to get our roof inspected. Even though we currently did not have leak issues we thought it wise to have the roof inspected as the ceramic tiles were close to 30 years old. Mario was prompt in responding and coming out to inspect. We were informed of 10 broken tiles. Our decision was to have the tiles replaced and power wash the roof to remove algae which included applying an organic sealant product. After a couple weeks of failed attempts to obtain an estimate from Mario I was in touch with Edith, the company sales manager. From then on the communication and process went smoothly. Edith and crew were a delight to work with. Her knowledge of the work to be done and concern for my satisfaction were impressive. In addition to repairing the broken tiles, our solar panels were cleaned along with painting the pipe flashings. Because everything looked so clean we decided to have Protecta power wash our driveway and side walkways, which are also cleaned with the organic algae solution. The work done was outstanding!"
