Clayton, Sr., for a new-construction home inspection, and we were very pleased with the level of detail and professionalism provided. The inspection report was extremely thorough and well-documented, covering structural, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and safety components in depth. The report included clear explanations, photos, videos, and helpful educational notes, which made it easy to understand not just what needed attention, but why it mattered. Even minor items and preventative recommendations were clearly identified, which is especially valuable in new construction. We appreciated that David did not gloss over issues simply because the home is new. Items such as grading and drainage improvements, sealing gaps that could allow pests or moisture intrusion, electrical safety concerns (including a non-functioning GFCI outlet), plumbing pressure readings, HVAC performance discrepancies, and door/window adjustments were all carefully noted with practical recommendations. The use of thermal imaging was also a great added benefit. Overall, this inspection gave us confidence going into the next steps of our home purchase and provided a solid list for the builder to address before closing. "Strongly recommend getting an energy audit completed on your home, especially when it's complimentary, thank you, Paul! There were quite a few items that needed attention in our home. The technicians Justin and Fernando were solid. They arrived on time, did a great job, were polite, and were very clean. They took before and after pictures, which shows how much I needed the work done. We went with the insulation to ensure it was at least 18 inches, the duct sealing of the junction boxes and HVAC unit, and we had to reroute the bathroom vent. We even did the optional UV-C light, which makes us feel much safer and takes a load off, especially in this current environment of being conscious of germs and all.
