"I only interviewed firms that used high-quality roof systems and that had received excellent reviews. I met with Jon Montes at my house and he thoroughly explained the materials they would be using and how the job would be carried out. Since he was familiar with homes in my neighborhood, he was able to print a quote and leave it with me that day. He was responsive when I called with a few questions. Then I was put in touch with Heather, who scheduled the job and provided regular communications throughout as the day of the job approached. A couple of days before the job I was contacted by John, the project manager. John explained the way things would go to complete the job. The morning of the job, John was on site with the materials the crew would need to start. The crew then showed up and got to work. They worked well together — it was obvious they had done a lot of jobs together. They worked until 9 pm the came back the next morning and completed the job by 11 am. A roof replacement results in a lot of stuff (old shingles and underpayment, and hundreds of nails) falling in the yard and flowerbeds. When the crew completed the cleanup, however, you couldn’t tell they had been there — except for the beautiful, new roof! I am happy to provide this review because J Montes, Inc delivered the product they promised at a price that beat the other firms I interviewed. In one week, I have already recommended them to two people that saw their sign in my yard and asked me about them. If you need roof work, you won’t go wrong with J Montes."

"Chris Dobbin consulted with me about new counter-tops. The presentation and display of the consultation was well put together and offered a lot of information as well as giving me confidence in the project itself. The price and financing were extremely favorable for this project, so I will definitely use them for future projects. On day of install, the contractors were in and out pretty quickly. No mess aside from some water leaking into the cabinet below the sink due to the dishwasher being accidentally bumped on. After install, Emma Murphy came by to inspect and consult about the install. She gave me great ideas going forward for backslashes as well as advice on remedies to some chipping/gaps that I noticed after the install. She informed me these damages were normal in an install. Overall was really satisfied with all aspects of this project. Will use in future and recommend to friends/family."

"When I decided to move ahead on a much needed roof removal and replacement, it was very hard to get anyone to respond. However, Michael was very quick to answer my call and get a quote. Eventually I was able to get quotes from 3 different contractors and they were all within $200 for each other, which I find amazing given it was a sizeable job. In the end I did not select American, only because they did not carry workers comp at the time. I understand they have since picked up workers comp. I do most home projects on my own but can't do it all on my own. I will certainly contact Michael for anything in the future I decide to hire out."
