Steve explained that he would be better served not having an inspection as that may come back to haunt him since he would need to disclose a Home Inspection had been performed. "We had a small job to remove/replace insulation that may have been soiled in our attic from a squirrel that got up there years ago. It was mentioned in our home inspection. After going up to take a look, Sean explained he didn’t see any soiled insulation but there was a small area that had been moved away from the corner and it was effectively empty. It was really too small a job though to warrant them coming out to blow stuff in so he recommended just taking a leaf blower up there to redistribute it evenly. Brilliant idea! He also graciously took a look at our crawl space and identified some areas we should address but ones we could do on our own. He was great to talk to and very helpful and reasonable. "It was a pleasure dealing with this company from beginning to end. I originally called for an energy audit to find out why the front rooms in the house I just bought were always so cold and drafty. Their rep, Steve, inspected my attic and crawl space and showed me pictures on his phone that showed the lack of insulation in the attic - including a giant hole from an outside wall that was hollow and opened into the attic. The crew who came to do the work kept me informed of their arrival time (they came from Eugene) and did a great job on the work and clean up. But the best part is the difference it has made in the temperature in my house. Insulating an existing house is expensive and I doubt I will ever recoup the expense; but the improvement in the livability of my home made it well worth it."
