"Hiring Mark to do a home inspection for a property that my wife and I are buying was worth every penny of his fee. Mark was available to do our home inspection the day after I called him and he was punctual. He spent over 2 hours and carefully inspected and ran each appliance that was in the home, checked the hot water temperature, checked each and every light and outlet throughout the house, garage and attic and did a complete inspection of the underside of the home. He also inspected the roof, exterior of the home and made recommendations. He provided us with a 45 page inspection report within an hour of the conclusion of the inspection and picked up on some marginal items that I had not noticed. For starters, Dan, the Project Specialist, is awesome! He is not only a truly nice, genuine person, but also a truly excellent ambassador of the company. Dan was right on time for his first visit to our home and always sent a text to let us know he was on his way for subsequent visits. He sincerely listened to our concerns and needs and then gave us several helpful suggestions and possible alternatives to achieve the outcome we wanted. He carried out a thorough inspection of our roof, attic and shed, answered every one of our questions and left us a number of shingle samples to consider. We had a couple of other companies come and look at the house previously, but none could compare with the Beantown experience. Dan stuck to his word and unlike another company that never followed up with their estimate, Beantown followed through, allowing us to gain their trust with a very reasonable estimate. Derek, the Project Manager, was also terrific. He kept us informed, telling us what to expect and when. The dumpster was delivered right on schedule, the day before the job, and Derek kept me posted on when the crew was arriving the day of. Derek orchestrated the crew like a seasoned conductor. I was amazed as to how smoothly everything went. One of the things we asked Beantown to do was to replace the trim on our shed with PVC – they did a great job, but the crown jewel was the rebuild of our cupola, whose wooden base had rotted. Derek, mapped out a plan that was carried out by his crew with an outstanding result – it looks beautiful! The job was completed by 5:30 PM and the cleanup was amazing – it was like they had never been there….and the dumpster was picked up the very next morning. I did a walk around the next day and only found one nail – unbelievable! Not only do we highly recommend this company, but we have hired them to rebuild our front and rear decks. Looking forward to another stellar experience!"

"Joe and his crew came over to spec the job, but during their inspection, they found a problems with my rubber roof at the back of the house. Joe contacted me immediately and sent pictures of the problem. There was water damage to the flat roof over the room we added onto the back of our house in 1994. It seems that the roof had been flashed and covered improperly, resulting in water damage that amazingly never found its way inside the room. However, it turned out that the water had destroyed the plywood roof deck and several of the joists that support the roof. I was sent pictures of the damage to keep me informed and Joe kept me apprised of everything that was going on. I left work early to see what was going on and Joe showed me the situation and explained what needed to be done. Obviously this was not what any of us had expected to happen. Joe had his team of four workers and himself on site for an entire day as they repaired the damage and put on a new rubber roof. I could see the difference in roofing technique immediately. Joe's method protected the roof and edge of the roof completely. It ended up being a different job and a lot more money than we expected, of course. However, I am completely satisfied that everything that was done was proper and well-executed. Oh, yes, Joe's team also checked the gutters and made a minor repair to their previous work. He informed me that very little work was needed, and adjusted the price accordingly."

"When I called for a quote they were great.  Mr. Willard came out himself.  I was thinking I would need an entire new flat roof.  He suggested that I start with a repair that would be 2% the cost of a new roof.  A quote followed quickly.  the follow up was very slow and it was difficult to get a question answered.  Eventually they answered my question and sent a crew.  I stayed home to see the start of the work and notice that they were not doing what Mr. Willard said they would so I sent them home.  They came back another day, did what Mr. Willard said was needed and the patches worked great.  Saved me many thousands of dollars.   Overall it was a good experience but if I had not been home to watch the first day they would not have done what I was paying to get done.
