"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

    Mike was on the job from start to finish. He came to give me an estimate & spent about an hour explaining what he was going to do and what the different products were that I asked about to use. I also asked for his opinion, which he gave & explained why.  He was very patient in answering all the questions I had and never acted like he was in a hurry to leave. I am greatful he took the time to explain things to my understanding & satifaction without making me feel rushed. I was also impressed to learn that not only do the shingles have a great warranty on them, but Mike has an 8 yr. warrenty on  his work as well!
    While doing the job, Mike & his crew worked well together & were quick, yet they paid attention to details. I was especially impressed when I looked out my window a few times, and saw that the guys that smoked would put their cigs. out & disposed of them in the trash & not all over my yard! Thanks guys! When the job was finished, Mike went around my home to double check everything to make sure that everything was cleaned up & finished correctly. My yard was as clean when they left as it was before they started! He made sure they got every nail they could find & every little scrap of paper, plastic, shingle, etc. that they could find. They also took extra precautions to check my driveway when ever I left or came home to make sure I didn't get nails in my tires. Job Very Well Done Guys!
     Any time I talked with Mike or his crew they were always polite & they were very friendly. Mike is a very respectable man & I would trust to hire him again in a heartbeat! "I hired the company to do a make ready [clean up & prep] on a single apartment in a building which I own in the  town where I live. I needed the property to be cleaned up so I could rent it again.  I have been a landlord for over 20 years & hadn't found a vacated property in such a mess in all my years. They did the complete interior clean-up which took about five hours. And, the complete prep of the property. they took out all the trash & junk, and cleaned up all debris left in the yard. They did such a great job with that I decided to use them for the yard maintenance also. They cleaned all my flowerbeds & got them ready for spring, placed mulch & trimmed the shrubs and flowering trees. On the inside they made everything look brand new! Cleaning the walls, painting, cleaned the carpets & stripped & polished the wood floors...making them look brand new. The appliances that stayed were cleaned inside & out. They even remembered to get all the light fixtures clean for me. Dusted all window seals & doorways. Shine mopped all they tile floors. To top it all off they even gave the bathrooms a fresh clean look by putting a new caulk seal around the tubs, sinks & shower...which gave the bathrooms a fresh face. All in all I found it to be a very stress free pleasant experience. And, I will definitely call on them for the next project because if they could do so well with a nightmare like that I'm sure the less difficult will be equally affordable and easily handled.
