"My B rating was due to a miscommunication regarding the day the work would take place. I mailed my down payment in and next thing the supplies were delivered so i had to call to confirm the day of installation. Only other thing is I would suggest they sweep area with a magnet. Although they did a good clean up job I did have to pick up a lot of nails and a bush was damaged but should be okay. I did expect some minor damage to flower beds since i have several against the house."

Chevy Chase Remodeling completely renovated our only upstairs bathroom, and it went extremely smoothly. The crew arrived early every day and worked long days to get it done quickly, which we really appreciated as we were staying in the basement, where the only other bathroom is, during the work. They communicated with me about how things, such as tile, would be place both before and during the work. Every time we've had work done in the past, the contractor finds some big problems because of the age of the house, but this project was flawless, I think because of the skill of the crew and the great supervision and communication skills of Steve, the owner. Also, Steve had great suggestions, such as a tube sky light, and moving the vanity, which really added to the look of the bathroom. I would highly recommend them for bathroom remodeling, and plan to use them again when we do any further work on the house.

"I selected Complete Home Solutions (CHS) to give me a home energy assessment based on the recommendations of two neighbors and the company is an approved PEPCO energy improvement company. PEPCO authorizes rebates for qualified energy home improvement performed by a select list of approved companies—CHS is on PEPCO’s list. From my first phone call to schedule my initial assessment to project completion everyone was very courteous and professional. During the assessment (2+ hrs), Merv answered all my questions. He took pictures of the crawlspace/attic to show me what work he would be recommending as well as performing a door blow test. What I liked most about the assessment –there were no sales pressure! I received three recommendations –each recommendation included what work would be eligible for the PEPCO rebate. Staff was very accommodating in scheduling the work to meet my schedule. Staff called to let me know that the crew would arrive within the hour—which they did! The workers did a walk through explaining to me what work they had listed to perform—attic insulation, sealing around windows, doors, basement insulation, and etc. A second door blow test was done and results were reviewed with me. All workers were courteous and professional and they did an “excellent” clean-up job! Thanks to Linda and others who answered my many questions via phone or email—as I wanted to take full advantage of PEPCO’s rebate for energy improvements to my home. Staff completed and submitted the necessary rebate paperwork to PEPCO. I recommend Complete Home Solutions to complete your home energy improvement needs."
