"Formally retired from the construction & real estate industry, we highly recommend & vote Jon Dixon as the person to call for home inspections. If you seek the best of the best than look no further. His jovial personality makes everyone feel comfortable and relaxed. Jon is detailed oriented and with his asst Kim, there is no room for mistakes. His precision detailed report along with photographic pictures were beyond our expectation. His aerial shots from above was the icing on the cake. Wow !!! The report we received that evening was our Christmas gift being that time was of the essence in our situation. Jon, your attention to details/ issues caught & surprised our 20+ years experienced builder because this was a newly built home. Our sincere thank-you !!!! Merry Christmas !!!!! Mike & Iris P"

"Once the Home Inspection was completed and I was given the report results I felt that I must have hired one of the top ten Home Inspectors in Las Vegas. The pictures provided were easy to understand and clearly depicted the item described in the caption. The report provided is of two segments, one with pictures and a brief caption in each photo, the other segment is all verbiage that corresponds to the photos. The job performed was very thorough which included why certain areas werenâ t accessible. Iâ ve given Integrity Inspections the following ratings on the job provided: Communication 10+, Job Performance 10+, Timeliness of Results 10+, Accommodating Clients 10+, Work Results Product 10+ I highly recommend Integrity Inspections for any one who needs an inspection done accurately, unquestionably well and quickly."

"Kelvin waws very professional and did a good inspection. He looked in the attic, but did not go into it. I was mainly concerned about the electrical and the roof. He used a drone to check the roof, which he determined did not need attention (thank you!) and checked all my outlets and found one I was concerned about was only loose and tightened it right then. I was very happy with his work."

"Mr. Chu first checked the GFCI's for accurate installation. They were wired correctly, although when tested with his multimeter it still indicated that the hot wire and ground wire were reversed, causing both to malfunction. He metered my entire service panel and found everything normal. Both of us were very perplexed, as I also have some electrical knowledge. After 2 hours of trouble shooting it was determined that there most likely was a short in a junction box in the attic somewhere.Having just had 22 inches of insulation blown into my attic and the fact that there was very little room to move much less work, I decided to call a licensed electrician. They always have an array of technical equipment that would trace the wiring without the need to go into the attic if not necessary. Mr. Chu was not the least bit offended when I told him that I thought that I might need to do that. He spent 2 hours trouble shooting and refused to accepet any payment because "I didn't fix the problem". Six hours of trouble shooting and $400 later (electricians fee) the problem was resolved. The home is 34 years old. The previous owner decided to stucco the outside of the home (over lap siding) and stuccoed right over the GFCI outlets on the exterior which had been tied directly into the bathroom recepticles. They were so rotted that after cutting a hole in the stucco, they just fell to pieces. HUGE fire hazzard. It did take a couple of high tech electrical meters to trace and locate the issues. I am very impressed with Mr. Chu's demeaner, professionalism and more importantly, his honesty. I have a considerable amount of base board to install in my home and I will not hesitate to give that job to Mr. Chu.
Thanks Jung. I appreciate you very much and my wife is really really glad to have her blowdryer back. Will be talking to you soon.

"I purchased this deal from Angies list the 1st of September.  Indoor Air Solutions was ready to make the appointment right away; however, I was having the interior of the house painted.  Both my painter and Jeremy with Indoor Air said I needed to wait until after the painting to do the duct cleaning.  My painter was then delayed in getting the job done and Jeremy was more than gracious in waiting to reschedule our appointment.  I am super happy with the work that was done.  The house smells fresher and the vents look nearly brand new.  The technician who came to the house was very professional and methodical in his work - he also thoroughly explained everything to me.  I am more than pleased with the work and will definitely use this company again.

"Company set up appointment immediately.  Just purchased a home so had to had some things inspected and repaired that was found during the home inspection. The worker was very nice and went through my home to suggest upgrades that was needed for my home.  My home was built in  1997 and still had a lot of the original plumbing & faucets  that was never updated. I had to draw the line at replacing the Water Heater Tank due to shortage of funds.

FAQs for home inspection projects in Pahrump, NV

Most mobile home inspections require two to three hours to complete properly. The timeline varies based on your home's size, age, and overall condition. Inspectors need sufficient time to examine all major systems, document their findings, and compile their observations.

If the inspector discovers concerning issues that warrant deeper investigation, the process may take longer. For the most thorough assessment, try to schedule your inspection during daylight hours when visibility is optimal.

Pay close attention to water damage indicators like ceiling stains, warped flooring, or musty odors. Structural concerns, including uneven floors, sagging rooflines, or doors that won't close properly, suggest potential foundation issues. Electrical problems such as flickering lights, warm outlets, or outdated wiring present serious safety hazards.

Impromptu modifications or repairs performed without proper permits often signal deeper problems. Windows that don't seal properly may indicate structural shifting or water infiltration.

Yes, professional inspectors evaluate the foundation components and anchoring mechanisms during a thorough assessment. They examine support piers, blocks, and tie-downs for proper installation and condition. The inspection includes checking for appropriate ground clearance and adequate ventilation beneath the home.

Proper anchoring is essential for stability during adverse weather conditions. Foundation issues can affect everything from door alignment to plumbing function, making this a critical part of any comprehensive inspection.

Industry professionals recommend scheduling maintenance inspections every two to three years for manufactured homes. Homes in regions with extreme weather conditions may benefit from more frequent evaluations. Consider arranging an inspection after significant storms or if you notice any unusual changes in your home's condition.

Regular assessments help identify minor issues before they develop into major problems. Maintaining documentation of these inspections also provides valuable records for insurance purposes or future sale considerations.

Search for inspectors with certifications from recognized professional organizations in your state. Specialized training or experience with manufactured housing is particularly valuable for these unique structures. Ask potential inspectors about their familiarity with HUD standards for manufactured homes. Professional membership in industry associations often indicates commitment to ongoing education and ethical standards. Request sample reports from prospective inspectors to evaluate their thoroughness and clarity of communication.

Many insurance providers consider inspection results when determining policy rates and coverage terms. A positive report demonstrating well-maintained systems and the absence of hazards may qualify you for better rates. Addressing issues identified during inspection demonstrates proactive maintenance that insurers often reward. Some companies offer specific discounts for homes that meet certain safety and structural standards.

Contact your insurance provider before scheduling an inspection to understand exactly what documentation they require for potential premium reductions.
