After reflection, I figured I was harsher than is called for!  Perhaps, he didn't convey clearly that he did make some repairs.  More time on site to deliver value; perhaps they don't get paid much of the voucher, and better communication can be helpful.

B&R improvement was quite easy to work with in scheduling a visit.  The only problem was that it turned out to be a roof inspection and a quotation for the whole roof replacement.  But, the voucher I bought is meant for repairs.  Apparently, a part of small part of the roof needs attention soon; while the rest might last a few years; considering that it is 19 years into its 30 year life. 
The voucher included a number of repair items and I felt that it didn't serve the intended purpose.   If I was looking for quotation for roof replacement, perhaps I could have gotten that free from any roofer.    Remember I am not judging the roof replacement quotation from B&R Home Improvement; but rather that I didn't get what I was expecting for the voucher."

"I would hire this company again in a minute! First, Richard responded to my request within a half hour of my placing the request for responses. He came to our home within a couple of days, did a thorough inspection and provided an estimate. The estimate was reasonable and we hired him. He and his crew were there three days later and replaced my entire house roof, porch roof, and small overhang. They worked a very long, hard day but were able to complete all the work in a single day and it was done well and beautifully. Not only that, they were very considerate of the rest of the house - they draped everything and cleaned up as they went.
