"The technician did an excellent job. It did take a while to get the repair finished, but that was due to Bertazzoni delivering the parts. I have had multiple problems with this particular appliance. My range now works better than it did when new, but I have a feeling that even if I have continuing problems with it, American Home Shield will just repair rather than replace due to the cost of the range. By the way, I'm not exactly sure of the date of the repair."

"Shortly after purchasing the Big Deal (mentioned above), David contacted me to schedule an appointment and he's the one who came out to do the initial inspection, etc. He spent quite a bit of time on our roof and spoke at length with my husband about current and potential problems.
He sent a crew out later to do the light repairs included in the Big Deal. My only issue with this was that it was not arranged ahead of time. A few days after our inspection, he called - I missed his call because I had my hands busy washing dishes. I checked my voicemail as soon as I was done and it was a message from him saying a couple guys would be here in about 30 minutes. Well, first... no one even knew whether anyone would be home or not for this since the appointment was not pre-arranged. I just happened to be home at the time, BUT I was not dressed to be answering the door because I had no idea anyone would be coming by. (I do not like to greet people when I'm still in my pajamas and have not showered and dressed, which I had not done yet because I was doing housework and again, had no idea anyone would be coming by.) Anyway, by the time I check my voicemail, it's too late. A few minutes later, a couple of guys are ringing the doorbell. They did not speak English, but I knew why they were here and they seemed to be indicating that they needed into the backyard to get on the roof. I get the key and unlock the fence gate, but I'm still not certain why this was necessary, as access to our roof is pretty much the same regardless which side of the house you're on. They could've used their ladder to access the roof from the sides of the house prior to where the fence begins. I thought they maybe they could do their work without the need to speak with me, but they did try to communicate with me sometimes. However, there was a significant language barrier. I could tell that they were knowledgeable and wanted to explain/tell me things, but they just couldn't. After much unsuccessful effort (on both our parts) to understand each other, they finally decided to just call David out. He arrived within the half-hour and they spoke with him, then he spoke with me. He explained some mistakes that the roofers had made when we purchased our house (a new roof was put on the house at that time as part of the purchase agreement and the sellers got to choose the roofer, not us... it turns out that the roofers they used were just some fly-by-night operation that did a really cheap and shoddy job). Anyway, he said he would email us an estimate for all of the work that he suggested outside of what was included in the Big Deal offer. After receiving the estimate, we decided that it was too much to take on at the moment and decided to have the more extensive work done at a later date. Our roof is functional and isn't leaking, so the work can wait.
Overall, the services we received were excellent for the price, and David was clearly very knowledgeable in the roofing industry. I could tell that the kind of work they do is very detailed and that they do not cut any corners. For that reason, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing roofing work, as I'm certain they would do a more-than-top-notch job.

"I can't say how happy I am with Jake, Jason and Outdoor Creations. From top to bottom Outdoor Creations has been completely professional and most helpful! My first insurance claim was denied, but with their help and input, I was able to not only get my roof replaced, but gutters, too. They did my roof in two days --complete tear-off and replace and it's a big/steep roof! It looks fantastic, the communication has been phenomenal and the end result is a much better roof than I had when I built the home to begin with. I have told everyone who would listen how pleased I am. They even worked out a great deal for solar powered roof vents. As far as I am concerned, Outdoor Creations is only company to deal with when it comes to roofs--I highly recommend them!!"

"My neighbors had ROCA Roofing & Construction (ROCA) remove and replace their roof due to storm damage. I was impressed with the quality of work and the expediency in which the job was completed. ROCA had placed a sign in my neighbor’s yard, so I called the company to see if they would come and take a look at my roof. A sales representative came to my home the same day and assessed the damage to my roof. It was a very easy process. The sales representative and the insurance adjuster worked together to prepare an estimate for replacing my roof. The roof, vents and gutters were replaced and the exterior of my home was painted. The sales representative went above and beyond the scope of work approved by the insurance adjuster. I told him that I needed to move numerous concrete yard ornaments from my back yard to my front garden. He offered to move the yard ornaments for me and did so the same day with the help of another sales representative. I was so pleased with the work they provided, I recommended ROCA to two other friends which resulted in two other jobs for ROCA.

"Roger came to my home to provide an estimate. He arrived promptly. He was professional, very pleasant, and easy to talk to. I showed him the work I needed to have done. He measured the rooms for flooring. He spent time talking with me about some other issues I had with my house and offered some good ideas. I don't think he completely understood my vision for a change in the layout of the shower in the master bath but I would have revisited that topic with him prior to hiring him. I was concerned about a possible cat "accident" ruining new floors and Roger had a great idea to have the planks stained and sealed on site. This would help prevent moisture from getting in between the planks. Roger provided an estimate with moderate details. His estimate was about what I expected and in line with my budget. He called to follow up with me on the estimate. I wasn't home at the time and he left a message. I always appreciate it when a service provider checks back. It makes me feel like they want my business. I give him an A+ for doing that. I liked Roger. A minor health issue come up in my family and I decided to table the project for the time being.

Most mobile home inspections require two to three hours to complete properly. The timeline varies based on your home's size, age, and overall condition. Inspectors need sufficient time to examine all major systems, document their findings, and compile their observations.
If the inspector discovers concerning issues that warrant deeper investigation, the process may take longer. For the most thorough assessment, try to schedule your inspection during daylight hours when visibility is optimal.
Pay close attention to water damage indicators like ceiling stains, warped flooring, or musty odors. Structural concerns, including uneven floors, sagging rooflines, or doors that won't close properly, suggest potential foundation issues. Electrical problems such as flickering lights, warm outlets, or outdated wiring present serious safety hazards.
Impromptu modifications or repairs performed without proper permits often signal deeper problems. Windows that don't seal properly may indicate structural shifting or water infiltration.
Yes, professional inspectors evaluate the foundation components and anchoring mechanisms during a thorough assessment. They examine support piers, blocks, and tie-downs for proper installation and condition. The inspection includes checking for appropriate ground clearance and adequate ventilation beneath the home.
Proper anchoring is essential for stability during adverse weather conditions. Foundation issues can affect everything from door alignment to plumbing function, making this a critical part of any comprehensive inspection.
Industry professionals recommend scheduling maintenance inspections every two to three years for manufactured homes. Homes in regions with extreme weather conditions may benefit from more frequent evaluations. Consider arranging an inspection after significant storms or if you notice any unusual changes in your home's condition.
Regular assessments help identify minor issues before they develop into major problems. Maintaining documentation of these inspections also provides valuable records for insurance purposes or future sale considerations.
Search for inspectors with certifications from recognized professional organizations in your state. Specialized training or experience with manufactured housing is particularly valuable for these unique structures. Ask potential inspectors about their familiarity with HUD standards for manufactured homes. Professional membership in industry associations often indicates commitment to ongoing education and ethical standards. Request sample reports from prospective inspectors to evaluate their thoroughness and clarity of communication.
Many insurance providers consider inspection results when determining policy rates and coverage terms. A positive report demonstrating well-maintained systems and the absence of hazards may qualify you for better rates. Addressing issues identified during inspection demonstrates proactive maintenance that insurers often reward. Some companies offer specific discounts for homes that meet certain safety and structural standards.
Contact your insurance provider before scheduling an inspection to understand exactly what documentation they require for potential premium reductions.
