"Let me start by saying that HESS is an amazing company and Mohammed is wonderful example of a real customer-oriented business should look like. He was very professional, competent, approachable, responsive, genuinely caring, extremely knowledgable and ready to do anything in his power to do the project to customer's full satisfaction. I bought my very first house three years ago - it was build in mid 50th and even though it passed the home inspection it was painfully obvious that there is work and money investment that need to done both in the attic and in the crawl space - the house was incredibly drafty and it took a lot of HVAC's effort and energy to heat it up in winter and cool it down in summer. I got some estimates for insulation of both areas but the pricey were so exuberant that I put those project on a back burner. Until my friend told me about Mohammed and his company - they performed weatherization of her house and she was very happy. So I decided to give it a try. And I was more than satisfied! The whole process couldn't be any smoother. From the start when Mohammed performed the audit of the house, explained to me in details what the issues were and how to fix them, to bringing the crew of amazing workers who finished the job practically in half a day (working simultaneously in the attic and the crawl space) leaving the house spotless. The temperature fluctuations between day and night that I experienced before have disappeared and the house remains pretty much at the same temperature all the time, without using heating/cooling during the months of May and June. "Pond said that the deal I bought on Angie's List was for a whole house repair and not for my job. However they gave me a discount worth the price of the Angie's deal so I didn't lose money on it. The estimator was on time and gave me options to consider. The contract was thorough and easy to deal with electronically. The installation team was on time and worked for 4 hours straight. They did a great job and left everything very clean - including blowing maple seeds off the entire roof. The only reason I didn't give them an A grade was that the shingles they put in around the new skylight are a lighter color than the shingles on the rest of the roof. But I'll have to re-roof in a few years and the new skylight is in a place most people won't see the off-color shingles so I can live with it."

"Exterior Medics (the company) was diligent in setting up an appointment for an initial assessment. The company representative arrived on time, performed a physical assessment, took digital photos and provided a written electronic quote in a prompt manner. I signed the contract and other documentation and provided my credit card payment information to the company. I realized the contract called for a ½ deposit, but I was annoyed to learn the company had charged my credit card for the deposit even before a work date had been scheduled. I called the company twice before a work date was communicated to me. The work date had to be postponed by a day due to inclement weather. The crew arrived early on the re-scheduled work date, worked, and left within a few hours. I did not watch the crew perform the work and was not aware of their exact departure time. It was apparent the crew had replaced the damaged aluminum siding at the front of the house and replaced the broken gable on the back side of the garage. I was very pleased to see how well the color of the replacement aluminum matched the original aluminum. However, I was not certain the gutters had been cleaned without climbing on a ladder to do an inspection. Rather than do this, I asked the company to provide a photo of the cleaned gutters and I received the photos in an expeditious manner."

Jason took photos to explain what needed to be repaired and gave a competitive estimate with the other 3 quotes we received. Jason made sure we had samples to assist in getting our HOAs approval. They cleaned up the area thoroughly including using a magnet to ensure all the nails were removed.
